gamecube memory sticks on wii

hi, im getting a wii so dont get mad cause im a noob but i was wondering if there is a way to use gamecube memory sticks on the wii to play gamecube games because i have a lot of data on my memory sticks and i want to be able to play gamecube games from where i left off. please help.

there's 2 Gc memory card slot on the wii

pop open the little door on the top. you can put controllers and memory sticks in there.

yup. as a matter of fact u need GC memory cards to save GC data when using the wii. theres a side pannel on the wii with 2 GC card slots and 4 GC controller ports (just like on GC). other accessories like the wavebird and bongos will also work fine. the only thiong that wont work is the GBA player. so make sure u keep those controllers and memory cards. the classic controler wont work with GC titles.
