Same rating as harvery birdman for the wii. Wow i am amazed, granted i am only like an hour or two into the game but i am loving it so far, its atleast an 8.5 for me. Game informer just likes what they are supposed to like, they never actually form opinions on games they jus give thumbs up to the halo3's of the gaming world and dump on anything that breaks away from the norm is is maybe a little off beat. its sad really, over the last year i have become more and more skeptical of their reviews but this is just rediculous.
This doesn't surprise me at all that they gave NMH a 6.0. I pretty much expect GI to give most of the Wii's unique, non-niche games a low score. It's the same score they gave to Endless Ocean, and any reviewer who compares Endless Ocean to a screensaver obviously missed the point of the game. Yes, GI reviewers usually give their best scores to games that are safe bets and rarely recognize the value of something that attempts to offer something different.
I was actually very surprised to find that 1up gave Endless Ocean an 8. I don't think the reviewer is a regular, though (I could be wrong - I don't visit that site for anything but "Broken Pixels")
Game Informer gets good cover stories but they are the single worst reviewers on the planet. They gave Call of Duty 4 a 10 all Game Informer cares about is 360 and PS3 I bet if No More Heroes was on anything but the Wii it would of got a 8 or 9 from them.
Played the game. Beat the game. The rating I would give the game is 8.0. It was awesome to play, the boss fights are awesome and the tons of blood was cool. Also the part-time jobs for the most part where fun. If the game was just polished a little bit more then I would give it a 9.0. I would certainly recommend this game to Wii owners.
Yeah I don't like Gmaeinformer that much. 98% of their games listed in almost every issue is PS3 and 360. The other 2% is Wii which they bash on usually and only list a few of its good games. In my book they fail. It's the internet or Nintendo Power for me.
The reviewers for GI are entitled to their own opinions. They don't have to like every single game. I agree with Rocky32189 that some of the comments here are fanboy-ish. Hating GI just because they don't agree with you is being somewhat childish. As for the score get over it. I don't see how their review is affecting the enjoyment any of you are having with the game.
who cares every one thats played it thinks its awesome or at least thinkjs its a good game. I dont care about mags, opinions i go by true gamer thoughts like every one here, if people on here say it good, pretty sure its good. Wii owners pn here dont buy crap

The exact same way i feel, i just beat it myself...I'd give it an 8.0 too...The boss fights were nice and the part-time jobs were nice also...The game just needs more polish..I really hope they polish up the game well for the sequel..
