All the women in my family liked Wii fit and sports resort. Zac and Wiki is a good game too if you can find it.

It's hard to recommend anything if we don't know what your mother likes. Maybe the rail shooters? Marble Mania?

I would suggest Wii Sports Resort, great game that anyone can pick up and play with ease. Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros may be viable options as well but definitely go with Sports Resort first.

You can't go wrong with Wii Sports Resort and Mario Kart. Get her Galaxy or Galaxy 2(when it comes out) as well since you really need to know English to play those games.

If you're looking for a game for Mother, then look no further than Other M. If you put the "M" in front of "Other" then you have "Mother". How convenient.

Also, just to let you know, there is a thread above called "Game Recommendations Thread" that is just right for questions such as these.

P.S. I was Joking about that Other M thing.

Try Pikmin or Super Smash Bros. Those are accessible games that would appeal to older people.

Well, my mom likes the bowling on Wii Sports and the archery on Wii Sports Resort, and before I got my Wii, I don't know if I ever saw my mom play a video game. So those games are good choices, as they are good family games.

Gaming-- a new Mother's Day activity?

"This Mother's Day, treat mom to an afternoon with the innovation of the Nintendo Wii." A commercial idea, perhaps?

I never played this game, but I think it's up there with Boom Blox. It's Blast Works. It lets you create your own character, levels and even share them online. You can even download content from the Blast Work website. It's actually a bit more complex than WarioWare DYI, but maybe not as much variety and depth.

It got an 8.0 on GameSpot and here's a video review of it:http://www.gamespot.com/wii/action/blastworksbuildfusedestroy/video/6192878/blast-works-build-trade-destroy-video-review

or

Maybe you can download: Tetris Party--you can play together! I offer these games because they have similar puzzle and customization elements like Boom Blox.
