Games you think would work well on the Wii?

This thread is for ANY game that you think should Either be Remade or Be made and would Work Well with the Wii Console.

I remember playing that game once on my cousin's Xbox. It was fun. I think that too would work on the Wii.

I knew I was forgetting Something. Jet Grind Radio would be Awesome on The Wii. I was talking with my brother about that a few days ago. That game would be revolutionary again. I specifically said Jet GRIND Radio because I didn't get into the Xbox one for some reason but it's all the same game. I just didn't get the same feel from Jet Set Radio as I did with Jet Grind Radio. It was a good game but they didn't have the spray painting right I guess. Anyway, Great Suggestion. While I didn't like the change in the spraypaint mechanics for the Xbox version (that game and Shenmue 2 are what made me buy an Xbox at launch), the level design is amazing at times. It's definately worth checking out, though, even if you are a Nintendo loyalist.

Though for the record, Jet Set Radio is the Japanese name for Jet Grind Radio. The Xbox version is Jet Set Radio Future.

And I do like the idea of team battles to spraypaint an area for control of that region.

Well, you missed out a bit. You should try the Dreamcast version- you had to use the analog stick to make motions to spray the paint. That's what I was thinking of, just with the remote.

True. The Dreamcast version to me was WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY better from the music down to the Gameplay. You should reallytry it.

Yea i think snake eater would be awsome game 4 the wii and what about a boxing game like fight night when a new one comes out or tenchu i would love to do motions 4 stealth kills on a wii version of the game

1) Resident Evil 5 PLEASE

2) Star Wars Battlefront

3) Something similar to New Super Mario Bros, but make it more like Super Mario World and give Mario and Luigi a cape (I'd like a good 2-D side scroll game)

4) A NEW Doom game built from the ground up for Wii

5) A Metroid Prime Hunters game for the Wii, with lots of content

all of the above, plus 2k7 get their lazy ass off the table and make a very good basball game. We need a realistic Baseball Game.

Just a random thought, but I think that the MVP baseball series is the best baseball series ever, it's too bad that EA got greedy and got the exclusive license for NFL.

I remember an arcade game, I'm pretty sure it was Cabal. I reckon a game like that would be well suited to the Wii. Your characterwas down the bottom of a sinlge screen from a behind the back perspective, and could move in a horizontal plane, while shooting guys that would appear on the screen. The Wii provides the perfect control scheme; remote for shooting, nunchuck for moving and the C or Z button to perform a roll. I thnk the Wii is generally better suited to 3rd person shooters than first person.

The basics are there in Wii Sports; I'd really like to see fully fledged boxing and tennis games. Wii Boxing just never felt responsive enough to me, and felt like I was just flailing about for the hell of it. I think Tennis is great, but having different players with different attributes, being able to move around the court independently, and having different modes would be cool.

I don'tcare forCricket and don't play cricket video games. But surely the Wii is capable of doing well by this sport. I don't think we will see that for a few years though.

A first/third person dungeon crawler where the remote can make for some interesting manipulation of spells. For example, being able to use telekenesis, to grab enemies or objects and then fling them with the remote. Spells could behave a little differently depending on how you wield the remote.

I doubt it will ever happen, but a game that requires 2 remotes would be sweet. I was thinking about the telekenesis thing here. You could grab enemies, then stretch them apart :)
