Super Metroid, Starfox, Yoshi's Island and Super Mario RPG on the VC. Also MP: Corruption too. I'm going to hold judgement on Mario Galaxy until I see some more gameplay footage. Nintendo's more traditional Mario platforming games haven't been too good recently imo.

How so? I think the Mario games have been great.
NSMB was a little on the easy side and seemed to be a step backwards for the series. I know it's supposed to play like the original SMB on the NES, but it still didn't click with me. Then there's Mario Sunshine. The whole water gun gimmick wasn't really any fun for me. Just my opinions though. I'd like to see something more like Mario 64 or Super Mario World. Something with varied, creative environments, lots of neat (non-cheesy) items and some good 'ol platforming fun.Â
The new Fire Emblem, Battalion Wars 2, any new Resident Evil games, especially the RE4 Remake. I was looking forward to Red Steel but it turned out pretty badly. I heard they are making a second one. If so i hope its better than its predecessor. Also Metroid Prime 3, WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 and the TNA game thats coming out.

super smash is all im looking foreward too seems as though i dont really like the other games cause those are the types of games where i could go to a Xbox 360 to feed my need of something different. I personally think nintendo needs more franchises

I actually agree. All the GC Mario games except Strikers (that game rocked) were average or sucked IMO. NSMB also didn't click for me. But I dunno - whenever I see Galaxy I get this feeling that's a worthy Mario game to hype.
