Wow, That makes Black Ops the Highest Rated Call of Duty game on the Wii....Wow.

The Wii got a 9.

That's surprising. In fact, just the fact that Gamespot is one of the first to get around to reviewing it is surprising.

I probably won't be getting it but it's always nice to see the Wii get a quality game.

Finally the wii gets an AAA game even though I don't like COD. I hope we get an AAAE very soon.

well il wait and see, what really matters is the quality of the online play ect. /no lagg , no bugs.

I know that Black ops is probably the best wii online shooter, but im gona have to wait and see if its the best overall online experience.

It needs to beat Mario kart, MH3 and TvcC

and it still isnt clear which of the following is better; black ops vs goldeneye vs conduit 2 (when it comes out)

Black Ops Wii looks pretty good. Although, I'll probably just get the 360 version.

The Wii is having an amazing year, and there are still a couple of great games left to come out. My wallet is going to suffer.

it goes with that wii has lower standards thing... its slightly less than the hD versions so ot should of got less.

the only reason i would give it a 9 is the controls..but i doubt the reviewer cared about that.

but.. a 9.0 for the wii! yes lol

Goldeneye has a better single player campaign. Black Ops has better multiplayer.

I HATE reading Wii reviews. Here's why:

The Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls still work very well and are extensively customizable, but the addition of Classic Controller support opens up a whole new kind of precision. Instead of pointing your arm and wrist, a small flick of the thumb is all that you need to acquire a target.GS review

At least Chris still acknowledges in the next sentence that skilled players can be good with either control scheme:

This option makes Black Ops more accessible to players who have experience with shooters on other consoles, and skilled players can still be very effective with their console-specific control scheme.GS review

But I guess that means he's not skilled at using the Wii remote, which I think is true of the vast majority of people who review Wii games....

even if its already known that the wii shooters arent exactly top tier when it comes to FPS across all systems.

I totally agree. If you're using the wiimote for FPS like you use an arcade light gun then you probebly shouldn't be reviewing games for the Wii. Can't imagine how tired someone's armwould get playing like that.

seriously, i know it's a bit awkward at first, but jeez, i ask my friends if they wanna play an FPS on the wii and they refuse because they get their arms tired...

If the game is slightly better than goldeneye it deserves that score, and it looks that the onlineand zombie modes are good

I haven't tried it yet, but it seems that dual analogers get cheap aim.

It would be nice if we could see everyone's controller set up online like we can in Mario Kart Wii. Then we will really know if the pointers are owning the analogers!

This game could get a 10 I would still not buy it over DCKR, Epic Mickey or KEY.
