GameStop computers just added the 3DS with 18 game available on Nov 22

The GameStop computer added the 3DS, 18 games and 14 accessories to their system, listed with shipping date of Nov 22. And they will begin taking preorders on Sept 29.

This seems like a totally unsubstantiated rumor --AND-- an advertisement for some hits on a home-made blog page.

Perhaps the 3DS really will make it out the door by November. I'm impressed by Nintendo's quick turnaround.

I can't believe they released the XL for such a high price point with full knowledge that they'd release a successor console that essentially made it outdated the exact same year. Oh well, the final revelation is only 12 days away. Expecting a $250 price point even more if true because the DS price cut has only just gone into effect this month. Another DS price cut in 2 months would be way too soon.

Well all of you that say it can't be launched on Nov need to remember that it was the same with the DS and Wii. Both of them received an official date on Sep and were launched on Nov.soulreaper-4

many games are kinda remakes/ports. star fox isn't really a issue to get before that date, with that alot of other games. Kid iracus is probably already finished + animal crossing + paper mario, and more.

Bigger games like capscoms , kanomi will take a while still do. but then atleast people can already buy some games before those releases.

Those factory's rush out huge amounts of 3DS's i think, if not they probably rented multiple spaces to create tons of them. They just ad 10 euro ontop of there original price in order to compressate the costs, simple.

all with all, i dont really think its a issue for them to release the devices actually worldwide etc. Its not like there is 1 machine generating 1 device a day or something.

Specially as first version of the device it can have some flaws, which only increases the sales for the next upgrade DS version like lite.

I do hope its comming that early tho.

well it was confirm during tgs that mgs 3 snake eater will come out in sometime time in 2011

There have now been rumours from two different sources both pointing to late november as a release date. I was 50-50 about believing the first one, now there are two, I'm about 75% convinced.

If it does launch before Christmas, as seems likely, I think it will only launch in 1-2 regions though. There is no way they will be able to meet demand for a global launch. This thing is going to make the Wii launch seem like nothing. Without a pre-order nobody is going to be getting one of these until well into 2011.

What has that picture got to do with anything? They have deliberately photoshopped it to use it as a heading for an article, hence the "?".

We have two seperate rumours now. The "Gamestop" rumour on its own isn't that much to go on, as shops often "guess" launch dates and add stuff to their system, then change the dates later when they are confirmed. The "Twitter" rumour, again isn't exactly reliable either... But take the two together, and the fact that a pre-Christmas launch makes far more commercial sense than launching it in March, then also add the historical evidence of the DS launch...

I'm convinced it is coming out SOMEWHERE in November. (but not worldwide)

Simply put Nintendo will not announce the release date in 11 days and have a friggin' 3-6 month gap before release.

Also, people shouldn't reference me directly thinking i'm trying to champion some 3DS this year cause.

I keep saying I don't care when it comes, it will come when it is ready, but my guess is this year, and i think that makes the most sense, in NA, over Japan. (also when have i said anything about Paper Mario?)

But Nov 20th seems like a great date, DS and Wii were released the week before thanksgiving in NA too.
