Yeah, most likely, anyways, I was planning to go to a different Gamestop later today though. I hope the people at your Gamestop don't make the same mistake.
Yeah they don't have any here in Canada yet either, at least at the EB Games I go to regularily. I've called twice asking about them, went there yesterday and asked and they still don't have any. You'd think Nintendo would've thought this through a little more carefully and made the eShop cards available the same time they made the eShop available. I mean when the Wii launched they had Points cards the same day. My gf let me use one of her credit cards last night though, she let me get $20 in credit so I got Super Mario Land and Link's Awakening DX now and have $8 something left over.
I also think it's stupid that they're now charging tax when you download the games. And when you buy the eshop cards you get taxed on them too so we're being double taxed now. Oh and the cards are also region locked now too :|

damn, i feel ya bro good thing your gf has a card though ... i dont have CC too and i dont have someone I can ask to use their credit for me ... ive been calling the gamestop around my area too and they said it's not available yet...
In the UK the cards wont be available until late June/ early July which is a pain in the butt, quite frankly the lack of E3 content on the European store and the lack of prepay cards has taken some of the shine of the brand new eshop for me.

off topic but you have the best sig ever. so jealous!!!! on topic, i dunno i was pissed to find out nintendo points cards dont work on the 3ds e-shop...so i had to spend it on a virtual console game i didnt really want
the funny thing about the cards is that when i went to get one, they told me that the DSi cards would probably work with the 3DS, so i wait a day or two for the update to come out so the shop would be up, and i find out that they dont work!! so i ended up giving it to my sister since she still owned a DSi, and had to ask my parents if they would buy me twenty bucks worth.

you can download your desired dsi game through dsi and then transfer it to your 3ds
