Hi, God I hate, and love Nintendo at the same time, firstly I hate them for not showing more, for not giving out a bit more information, argh! but I love them at the same time, the entire concept off the WiiU and it's one central controller is just mind boggling, ever since the conference yesterday my mind just boggles as to what can be done with it, for example my favourite idea atm is to have a top down 'strategy' view for an RTS so you can command your units like the old C&C's used to be, but then on screen you have full HD closeup's of the action!! Even silly things like a rear view mirror in a racing game, or inventory holding for a MMORPG, or how about having a hide and seek mode on FPS, other players go split screen, the main player hides using the WiiU controller ... Anyone else had ideas? for me though, a FULL HD 1080p console with decent lossless sound output, a new innovative controller and breathtaking graphics is WOW, let alone the fact its backwards compatible, small in size and uses the old wiimotes we know and love!! Are we sure the console only supports one WII U controller at a time, because that would suck.

On the other hand did you see when the tablet was attached to a zapper? Maybe you could make a shooter where the TV screen is standard from the hip. While the Wii U tablet screen shows a zoomed in down the sights view.

Confirmed as only one wiiu controller per console, the console would need to be incredibly powerful to handle a bunch of controllers, remember that the console does all the CPU and GPU processing and just streams this to the controller wirelessly ... I doubt there is a tech which can do this in a cost effective fashion for more than 1 controller AND keep the WiiU's HD quality graphics.

How about a simulated pen-and-paper RPG type thing? You could have four players running around on the TV while the dungen master pulls all the strings from the tablet. While you're there, how about throwing in a Spore-esque monster designer just for good measure.
