I was just thinking how sweet this would be for 2D gaming fans.

I'd go crazy for VC editions of the GBA Castlevania games.  I get weak in the knees just thinking about it.

There's literally dozens of GBA games I'd plan on purchasing if they were available on the VC.

How about you?

Now that I think about it, I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about this happening yet.

The GBA, the GBA SP, the GB Micro, the DS, the DS Lite, the Gamecube's gamboy play and even some freakin portable DVD platers can all play GBA games.

I think theres enough way as it is to play GBA games...

I'd like that, but only because I find it hard to find good gba games still on shelves, there's literally no games left in stores around here that aren't current.

Wouldn't you rather play them on the TV?
Game Boy Player?  That's been discontinued for a long time.  And what if someone out there with a Wii doesn't own a GC?  Why should they have to buy a GC and then scour EBay for an over priced add-on?
Not everyone owns, or plans to own a portable DVD player either.  And how is that even possible?  I've never heard of that.  But even if it did work, why would someone go buy one when they could just dl onto the VC?

It's not about games even being rare.  It's just being able to play some of the best 2D games around on my TV.  That's what its all about.  It would be like the new-age Super Nintendo.  I'd crap my pants for this.

yeah but like, the VC is for classic games...and nintendo would be potentially cutting into their own profits, so don't expect it

I had thought of that.  But I still had to spit this idea out.  It was just too good to hold in.
Yeah, I'm sure they'll keep selling GBA games at retail for $30 a pop for as long as they can.  At that price it'd be too expensive for the VC.  But there's some I would consider buying for say $15.  FFTA is one of them.

i think its a good idea. Nintendo could probably make some good money off it. If you could use the wiimote it would make the VC also more acessible to people without classic/GC controllers. I think more systems will come over to the VC in time but there are still alot of great old games i;d like to see.  VC needs JACKAL! and some sidescrolling airplane shooters. Phalanx!

I would like to see some original game boy games on VC as long as they where not to many points. I remember getting the adaptor to play gameboy games on my SNES it would bring back some cool memories, and classic hand help games.

I would personally have no need for GBA games for the Wii, due to the DS being able to play them and due another reason which I can't talk about.

Good idea, The more consoles on the V.C the better.
