Recently i saw my first look at geometry wars when my friend bought the game? I had been thinking about buying it but when i saw the way you play i wasnt sure. the reason im asking this is because i only saw it for 5 minuets tops. is there a story mode multiplayer, a different kind of way to play it etc... it just looks like its the same thing to me. just shooting at things? can you give me some info and your opinion
it's a shooting game, why would there be a story? it's just a good fun game to pick up and play. I loved teh game myself got it for 8 bucks at toysrus.
$8? Wow, that's a steal. I got it for Christmas last year, presumably at full price. Ah well.
The game is clearly meant for pick up and play. There's no endgame, no sidequests or anything. You just pick a planet and play til you die. Rinse and repeat.
To put it simply, its Asteroids for the new generation. Great for pick up and play. Awesome visuals. This game can be had for cheap too...whats not to love?

read geometry wars on 360 - its a masterpiece. good port on the ds too
