Getting a 360 when I own a Wii.

Is this necessary? I mean, I love my Wii but i'm ready for some hardcore first person shooters. If I buy a 360 will it make me not play my Wii?Shanerfin

It will make you stop. You will still take breaks and play some Wii though...I do when a decent game comes out, (Okami, NMH) but Brawl and Mario Kart don't really take me away from CoD4/Gears/GTA , so yea...a 360 means a lot less Wii time.

Plus the multiplayer is amazing compared to what you are used to.

The xbox 360 does have more hardcore games like halo 3, cod 4, and many others.

But lets not forget the wii has motion controls such as the wii wheel, and it definitely has some fun games that xbox 360 will probably never have, like resident evil 4, SSBB, super mario galaxy, legend of zelda TP, and mario kart wii. (Best racing game out there I bet)

It shouldn't stop you from playing wii though, although some xbox 360 games have addicting online games.
