I am going to get a ds tomorrow but im not sure which game to get, here is a list of the games im thinking about:

Pokemon Diamond

Final Fantasy iii

Zelda: PH

Mario Kart

or if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

I'm sure a lot would say Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass, but I'd say either Pokemon Diamongor Mario Kart, depends if you'd want an Adventure Game or a Racing.

Id say Diamond because it'll give you the longest playing time and has replay values

Excellent choices! I really enjoyed FFIII, Zelda: PH, and Mario Kart. Some other great games that you may be able to find for cheap are the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games. They are unique and hilarious. FFXII: Revenant Wings is awesome too if you have played FFXII. Whatever you decide, I am sure you will enjoy the system. Have fun!

Mario Kart will keep you busy for hours, Zelda Phantom Hourglass is just a good game, Final Fantasy is complicated but fun, and Pokemon Diamond is a must-buy for the DS.

Pokemon Diamond and Mario Kart is a must have. Pokemon kept me in for at least 50 hours, and still has playability after that. Metroid Prime: Hunters if you have Wi-Fi and friends. Zelda and FF are just time passers.
