Getting A WII .. Immdediate HELP

so im going to be getting a wii in the next two days . i wanted to take some of your opinions .i had a 360 before . and i played over 30 titles . i enjoyed it to the core before i sold it off. now im looking for a change. i was thinking of the wii . is it really that good? in the next few months except for metroid i dont see any other potential games comming out . im more of a 3rd person game lover which the xbox 360 has alot of titles . but the wii doesnt have too many 3rd person titles. can anyone suggest me me some mature / teen games on the wii . im going to get red steel , and no more heroes for sure . but i obviously dont see my self playing wii sports or wii fit :S and am not a zelda fan too . i want some games which have more of a challenge or intense gameplay like no more heroes or metroid.even 1st person will do .

bottom line is should i collect money and wait for another 2 or 3 months till i have enough cash for a 360 . or should i take d money now which i have and buy a wii

You should get metriod 3 and other M ( thats good just see the gameplay at youtue)as well as goldeneye coming out only for wii( i think after two or three weeks). And ya the best shooting game its a hardcore title Resisdent Evil 4 and Darkside Chronicles. And call of duty reflex has online mode too and even medal of honour. IF you want to see more just search in gamespot by choosing shooting games. There are many games and wii is good in shooting and sports game as well as some action games

Call of Duty OPS and GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER. AND AVATAR THE MOVIE GAME IS GOOD TOO

IF you want change for 360 then WII is great but if you want same thing ( means graphics) but need some good game titles then go for ps3. SO tell me what games you want to know for wii like Action, Shooting, Fighting ETC

dont get me wrong here guys i would love to play the new donkey kong and super mario bros . theres nothing better in reliving your past . :) . i will definely pick up resident evil as well . its just that i wonder why wii doesnt have a vast library of 3rd person or fps games . they are remaking games from the past instead of focusing and investing some new games.im pretty sure both of your ll guys own a wii . would it be a waste to invest in a wii ? ....btw im not much of a ps3 guy .. id get the xbox if i really had to because of gears of war , and halo reach . but screw the ps3 or xbox 360 . is the wii good according to yourll. does the wii suffer from problems like the 360 rrod ?

oh and one more thing guys i dont care if the wii has the worst graphics . remember its not the graphics but the gameplay and the story tht makes a game . and also the fun . so thts why i thought i would give the wii a try

According to me wii is great and it does not have problems like 360 has and online is free for wii.

And you should try out cursed mountains, Star wars all games as well as Fear and Shattered Hills and prince of persia rivals as well as new prince of persia that came out even godfather and scareface is a good game to own as well as WWE 2010 and punchout. Monster tri hunter 3, xneoblade( gonna come out), dead space and gladiator and final fantasy. You should buy it as many people who dont have one say that is not good but unless and untill you dont try once how can you know about the console. ANd its great becax of motion sensing

IF you like music and guitar then try rock band series for wii

Don't know how you feel about mario, but galaxy 1 and 2 are awesome. Couldn't imagine many people not having fun with those. And since 2 came out, I'm sure the first one is pretty cheap, and if you haven't played it yet, galaxy 1 is a blast.

i dont really understand why you want a wii... you seemed to really enjoy your 360, so why did you sell it?

anyway, i'd reccommend the metroid prime trilogy as well as other m, perhaps the goldeneye remake, monster hunter tri, Resident Evil 4 if you haven't played it before, and super smash bros

Based on the type of game experience you're looking for, I'd suggest you either wait to buy a new 360, or go for the PS3. The Wii is a great console, but likely not the kind that you are looking for based on what you've asked.

I'm with ForzaAbruzzo, I think you may as well save up for a PS3. They are getting cheaper and cheaper.......wish I'da waited.
