ok, so basicaly im going to be getting a Wii for my birthday which is March 22. i just wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions on like 5 games i should get for starting. basicaly anything that has come out or is coming out before then. i'm really into shooters, some sports games, definetly racing. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks.

I'd say zelda (if u lyk the series) Excite truck is ment 2 be pretty gd i've nt played it tho I'd get wii play because u get a remote n a game 4 a fiver Then there arent really any gd shooters bt red steel is quite gd shame about the graphics tho
On the Virtual Console, OoT, A link to the Past, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 (if you haven't already played it to death) Sonic the Hedge Hog and Ice Hockey for some old school sports action.
Probably Zleda would be good Racing--Need for SPeed is good, Excite Truck is ok (i have both, NFS is better) Sports--Madden is great once you get used o the controls (easy) SHooters--Red Steel is a decent first attempt, Call of DUty is ok (i have those, Red Steel is better cause of multiplayer) Medal of Honor, which looks awesome, is coming out soon as well Others- You get Wii Sports automatically, which is a neat little game. I also recommend WarioWare, which is short but fun, esp. the mutliplayer. Ive heard that Sonic and SSX are also good, but sometimes the controls are frusterating

LoL well that was quite an informative list.
and as of now, it looks like i'll be asking for Zelda TP, Excite Truck, WarioWare, Red Steel, SSX Blur, and i talked em to 6 so probably Trauma Center cause that looks pretty fun. plus extra wii remotes, nunchucks, definetly a forbidden>
