I've never played Metroid, but I watched a video for this one, looks good, what are the other games like?

The DS version wasn't even developed by the same people, is completely different, and was much worse than the Gamecube Prime games.

Prime 3 was confirmed to have no online (or any type of multiplayer) a long time ago. You are way behind.

Metroid is a single player game. It is not a shooter; it's an adventure game. You people think that just because the game is in first person it all of a sudden needs online multiplayer.

I really truly feel sorry for anyone who passes up this game because lack of online multiplayer.It is shaping it up to be the Wii's best game.

you are behind on the times dude, confirmed multiple times, forever now, that it will not have multiplayer, online or not.if you are going to pass up probably the wiis greatest game of 07 for lack of multiplayer you are foolish

Awesome. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't played them. Metroid Prime is one of the best games ever made, and Echoes is a worthy sequel. You own a Wii, right? Get Metroid Prime.

Already got it pre-ordered and paid for, so it's a day one pickup for me. The first Prime is my favorite GC game. Prime 2 was solid as well. I just don't know if I'll be playing it on day one. It comes out a week after Bioshock for the 360. If Bioshock is garbage, then I'll play Prime 3 sooner, but I doubt that will be the case. At least it will be waiting for me.
