Getting Pokemon from Gold to Diamond/Pearl

Is it possible to get Pokemon from Gold and silver over to pokemon Diamond and Paerl?  I was just trying to trade pokemon from gold over to saphire and it wont work.  I then tried to trade pokemon from saphire over to leaf green and it keeps saying on leaf green that they are not set up to trade far away to other regions or something similar to that.  Does anyone know how I can get my Entei, Suicune, Mew Two, Ho-oh and other pokemon that i love to pokemon Diamond?  Any responds would be greatly appreciated.

:(  So how are we supposed to  beable to get all of the rare pokemon out their?

The Gameboy and Gameboy Color games are not compatible with the Gameboy Advance games. You can't trade Sapphire with Leaf Green because you need to do stuff in the Sevvi Islands first. You can trade between Gold and Diamond because the DS can't play Gameboy or Gameboy Color games. You can trade between Gameboy Advance and DS Pokemon games. I hope that helps.

didnt no crytal counted as above 3rd gen seeing as its basically a souped up version of Gold and Silver

Look for all you guys out there you can't put a Game Boy or Game Boy Color game in the DS. It impossible. Since that impossible you can't trade it tp D/P.

you cant trade your pokemon from G/S/C/R/B/Y because those games, the pokemon's IVs (stats) are 0 trhough 15 and in the 3rd gen and up the IVs are 0 through 31

Yeah, they redistributed the GSC Pokemon, notably in Sevii Islands in FRLG.mootmash

there one possible way though..if you transfer your pokemon from silver/gold to coloseum and then into ruby/ saphire, and then to d/p. im pretty sure it would work. but its alot of workmalicem

I'm prety sure you can't since Coloseum is only supposed to be compatible with the third generation games....meaning Ruby/Saphire/Emerald/FR/LG...etc...

And by the looks of it there's really no way to get your pokemon from Gold and Silver to any Third or Fourth Generation games.
