Hey guys, finally played some MS Charged Football online last night. Man, I got so pwned it was embarrassing. One player even managed to do a super strike on me. But I did notice even with 5 star connection it was very choppy. Anyone else get this? Also the lack of ability to talk to the other person sux. I think this feature is coming. But the last game I played was so choppy I had to stop, the only way to stop is to 'reset' the console that is weak! I also felt bad I couldn't explain why I left to the other person. Oh well on ward and up ward for nintendo online I hope. But I have no idea why I have to put a friend code in again to play a match when they are already in my address book! I would have though that is why you have a address book so I don't have to put in the freaking massive number all the time. Anyway everything else is good and IMHO think Strikers is the best true Wii-gen game out right now.
I was really proud of myself when I played my first online game and actually won, but since it was my first, I didn't realize that it was first to three and I turned off my console and had to go. I felt horrible after I realized I just blew the guy/girl off. Plus it gave me a record of 1 win, 1 loss.
The online was extremely choppy for me yesterday(my router bombed out today, I think that may have been the reason for some of the choppiness yesterday).
I was doing really well in the minute or so I got to play in my matches(continually cut off)and we winning by a good amount for most of the matches, but so far I have 3 wins and 3 losses(disconnections).
So do you think it's a worthwhile buy? I have $120 and I'm setting aside money for MP3. That leaves about $70 which I could spend on MSC, but I was also thinking about The Godfather or SSX Blur.

Strikers will probably have more replay value, but i Godfather is really long too.. and fun. SSX Blur is fun, but not as long.

And the Crystal Cup's getting pretty annoying to me.
Well if people were getting a lot of lag, it must mean the Wii online service is getting quite the work out. Hopefully they can iron out the kinks quickly.

I always try to pwn the hammer spammers extra hard cause they think they're all good but in reality it's easily counterable. I got owned by a rank 345 Bowser. My team wasn't ready for it.

I remember I went against a guy with two birdos and a dry bones. He was using the stupid Deke technique (it rhymes) and kept lobbing the ball over me until he got it to Birdo, then shot through the goal. He had barely ever tried it, though, I could tell, the first match he beat me but I beat him the other two times, probably from the fact that I used the Hammer Bro to knock all of his characters down and then shoot, but that's one way to fight cheap gameplay.
I'd play now, but it is late. But I have done one match and I went 1-2. That one win was great because the person was 5-0 when he started to play me. I have some lagging while playing, but that means the online play is going well. PM me if you want to play anytime.:)
Same here. I keep getting matched up with people who are 100-50. They score at will and completely block all the few megastrikes i managed to actually shoot.
one guy kept running away from me with waluigi and scoring megastrikes, then hammer spamming. i hate that!
i can't seem to win with the fat big shooters like wario and bowser online. i've been trying the faster ones like waluigi and peach...

the console has more things in it then just the wiimote :P Graphics and style also the use of wifi. Thats more what I am saying. A waggle to is cool enough any more would be silly, but thats more the any other console right now. The game looks better the a GC or all the other PS2 looking games coming out. I am really dissapointed in MP8. I wasn't even proper widescreen, weak. Thats why I consider Strikers the best wii game out right now. But will soon be pwned by MP3, Galaxy, and a bunch of properly developed Wii games. The future is bright :)

Hey will be getting it today sometime if my copy comes in.... do i just list my FC here and people can find me? Or do i need to list my game code too when i get it?
After one game of single player, I went online and beat someone in a close match. Series was tied 1-1 and the last game was in sudden death. Man i'm loving this game so far.
