Load of crap, imo. The gamespot reviewer for GH: DS kept complaining about it, but after playing it a ton at my friends, I didn't even feel slight discomfort. I don't know what everyone is crying about.
It caused me great pain. No matter how i tried to hold it i just could not bear the discomfort, so i traded the game in. Its not ment for human use as far as i am concerned.
That's what I've heard But I have it And I play it on my old DS Phat And I've only experienced it after two or three days of extended play And that's normal for almost anything, especially a guitar hero game.
well you might get carpoltunnel after like an extreme prolong time of usage. Like i am starting to get it but thats cause i beat both 1 and 2 on expert and play real guitar like all day! :)

hahaha, same here! I play both way too much for my wrists.
And my hand hurts if I hold it at any angle other than like if I were cradling a newborn baby. My arm would fall off if I played it like the kids in the commercial.
I don't actually have the game, but I saw what the guitar grip looked like and pretended I had one attached to my ds to see what it would feel like to actually play with it and I don't understand how your wrist can cramp at all! Maybe I need to actually own and play the game to know what it feels like.
I actually get bad hand cramps when playing, but I also use a keyboard to type all day. I play my 360 and Wii all the time, but the console controllers don't cramp my hand. Guitar Hero for the DS is the first video game to cause problems, but it might not be the same for everyone. If you don't experience pain in your hands due to other stress-related activities, then you'll probably be fine.
