I played Godfather for the PS2 (not the Wii version yet), and I just got SPM today, and I think SPM is a much better game. I'm not sure if that helps you though.
I just got SPM and I must say I have been having so much fun with this game. On the other hand I play Godfather everyday since it released and it's just fun too..It's a tough decision if you're tight on cash. If you can only get one I suppose go with Godfather for now since it'll be tough to find SPM for about a week or so.
I would get SPM.....the godfather isnt that good...it gets pretty boring after about 10 hrs.....but SPM is fun the whole way....so much to see and do....and think of it this way. In the godfather, you get all your gadgets and what not, not too long after the begining, and the enemies only get harder....they never change tactics or styyle or anything...just get more health and more of them. In SPM....enemies change, get more difficult, there are bosses, different methods of excecution all the time...SPM FTW
I don't have either game, but I plan on getting SPM. You should get SPM, because when you think about it, we've already had a Godfather game, and it's worth getting for Wii, but this is Mario's Wii debut! Come on, you don't wanna let that slip by do ya? Or if you're having a hard time. . . . . . . .just get both.
Well the Godfather is just plain awesome, But also what Ive played of SPM is also awesome so it is a very hard decision but I think that Godfather would be my first choice.
i have both games. godfather is a great game. if you like violence and grand theft auto type games then u will love it. i feel its better than GTA. I dont know why you all complain about graphics they are very good in my opinion. I mean really how much better do u need. Its a long game with lots of side missions and all kinds of stuff to do. Very well worth it and very very fun

Now theres Super Paper Mario. ANd in my opinion its an even better game. Its just fun. Its not a turn based RPG which I would hate it if it was. Its just right. It leaves u wanting to play more and more. Very challenging and makes u think. A very well rounded game.

Im 27, I like mature games, and I really like the godfather, but if I had to choose id get Super Paper Mario or both if u can. Â

Nintendo wouldn't publish it. A publisher can choose when they want to publish a game and Nintendo would never let that kind of crap out on the market. :P
Super Paper Mario is a Nintendo brand game meaning it takes a long time for it to go down in price. GodFather will go down before SPM. Also, SPM is generally considered more fun and long. I would buy SPM, and by the time you beat it, Godfather will be cheaper. (at least before SPM)
