Well he's saying both suck and spend your money on a better game....I dont have Godfather, but I can tell you that SSX is amazing. It takes some time to get used to the controlls, but once you master it its a load of funhazbazzexactly, if u spend some time getting to know the controls it is UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111 :D :D :D
As long as you have at least a little coordination and you like the satisfaction of pulling off some sweet tricks, I would defenitly go with SSX Blur. People that don't like it seem to have so real amount coordination, like whoever it was that gave it the review from gamespot. It deserved a better score than they gave it because they weren't any good at getting the ubertricks to work. I've had no problem with getting the ubertricks to work almost every single time I've tried them. If you want to run around and shoot, hit, execute, etc all sorts of people around the big city, then go with Godfather. Both are great fun, but you really are comparing apples and oranges.

Long live the WiiÂ
I would go with SSX Blur. Like others have said, the control scheme does take some getting used to though. At first, I hated it, but now that I've got the hang of the controls, it's awesome. In my opinion, there is a ton of replay value for this game, online or not.
I have not had any first-hand experience with Godfather, but it seems like it could be cool as well. I'm just giving my opinion; it's up to you. If you're really on the fence, just rent one or both of the games.Â
the godfather offers more options so that's my choice
or wait for super paper mario

True dat, the godfather will def. be a good game to get and jus addon to the grwoing stack of games, though somethings that i read on ign.com said that the controls for when ur lets say holding a man up against a wall and want to throw him....they said that sometimes the controls did not function properly. Other than that i read that the game had a good amount of depth and options as maitrechiois stated. SSX Blur aint that bad a game either my only dispute against the game is that sometimes the controls like to get stuck in place. Meaning that when i flip or spin it seems that ur may freeze in the air, for wat seems to be no reason at all, its prob jus me trying too hard. Then theres always SPM, but thats commin out April 9 and thats in a total different arena of its own, but when that game hits the shelves def. gettin it... hope this help in someway, PeaceÂ
Godfather got a better review by gamespot.
SSX - 7.4
Godfather - 7.6
Not that theres a huge diffrence. It depends if your a sports fan or well, a godfather fan.

Don't trust Gamespots Wii reviews they're biased and the editors don't take enough time playing through the games. I haven't played the Godfather, but SSX Blur is my favorite Wii game right now.Â
