Goldeneye remake announced for ds (will have wifi)

n-Space: One parting announcement... at E3 this year Activision and Nintendo announced Goldeneye as a Wii exclusive. Not quite. We're happy to confirm that a DS version is in the works at n-Space. More on this next week!

DS or 3DS?

It appears to be going on DS, but I don't see why they wouldn't try to get it on the 3DS...

It'd be nice if they just ported the N64 version and touched up the graphics a bit for the DS.

I really hope they mean 3DS, not DS. A DS version probably wouldn't be much better than the N64 one.

This is confirmed on the official site, which mentions the DS (not the 3DS I'm afraid).

I prefer portable versions of games. Besides, the Wii one will be on par with N64 graphics, I'm sure 3DS can pull it off. Plus it's in 3D.

This is plain illogical. Most of you are not REAL gamers if you think FPS on the DS is a bad idea. (My opinion)

You do realize that the N64 didn't have dual analog and Goldeneye is still being praised as one of the best fps ever. Dual analog became the norm but was not needed and very possible to use on the N64 and the controls were fine. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark say hello. Conrols on handhelds should be great. Do wish it was on 3ds though as it does have one analog at least.

I saw on the case of goldeneye (on a google image and on amazon) that it had no wifi. Then, I looked at the controller bundle edition. It had the wifi symbol. What does that mean?Kraken148
