I need some help. I'm not sure what headphones I should get for my DS. I know about the official Nintendo DS Headset. Is it any good? If not, do you know of a good set? The only essential thing is that the headphones must have good sound quality and be relatively cheap (Like $20 or so).

Just use some cheap earbuds, the sound isn't going to be good anyway so why not go cheap?

This. Unless you want to also use the headphones for an mp3 player or something, you might as well just get a pair of cheap, comfortable headphones as the DS's sound output is quite a few notches below good, and spending more than $10 or $20 is a waste if that's all they'll be used for.

I just use my Sony somethingorothers that I use with my iPod. They're the kind that stick in your ear and block out outside noise so they're very good for playing games. I think they were only $8 and K-Mart too.

Skullcandy is the only way to go for headphones. I'd trust their quality with my life. The only better ones would have to be Bose and those are hundreds of dollars. :P

Skullcandies are some of the worst headphones I've ever listened to. They're not worth $5, and certainly not $15. If you're willing to spend $20, you might as well go up another $6 and get seinheisers from amazon.

I agree. Sennheiser is the way to go. If your still indecisive, here's a page that might help: Link.

At every Wal-Mart I have been to there is a set of earbuds called "Gummy Earbuds". Don't ask me why then called them "Gummy" that was just stupid but they are good earbuds.

They're amazing, except in the past two years I've gone through 3 pairs, because the end of the wire breaks. They are only $12 though.
