I was wondering if there are any good dungeon crawl games on the DS? Diablo style, kill, loot, kill, look, rinse repeat. Thanks

While I wouldn't normally recommend JRPGs, Tao's Adventure, Deep Labyrinth, and The Dark Spire are actually some pretty good dungeon crawls. The latter two are first person, by the way, in case that's an effect on your purchase. Tao's Adventure is a 60-floor dungeon crawl through a tower, I'm not sure how big Deep Labyrinth is, but it actually contains two games so it should keep you busy, and The Dark Spire is only about 7 floors I think, but the floors are big and the game is complex. Orcs and Elves is good, too, but a bit short. Orcs and Elves and The Dark Spire are the two I'd most recommend. They're both really good games and are very reminiscent of some classic RPGs.

Sorry Luigi but I don't think you get what he means.

As for some dungeon crawls on the DS, check out: Master of the Monster Lair, The Dark Spire, Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. Also if you're OK with the Harvest Moon series then check out Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon and Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. Both of those are exactly like the regular Harvest Moon games except they have a dungeon nearby that you can, well, crawl through.

It wasn't quite meant to be serious.

Final Fantasy IV is a great game, I was just saying it isn't a dungeon crawler type game. Sorry if I seemed like a bit of an ass Luigi. :/

MrEco and Envoy_of_Wolves gave some good suggestions. My vote would goto Etryian Oddysey, which is another first-person game (turn based combat) but the dungeon crawling apsects - explore, kill, loot, repeat - are spot on. Unfortuantely, anything even resembling something as complex as Diablo doesn't exist unless you own a PS2. PSP has a few, but that's a different story.

Either Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer or Izuna: The Unemployed Ninja. They are both roguelikes. Which is what Diablo was. :D These are the only random dungeon crawler games I've found remotely interesting on the DS. Otherwise Etrian Odyssey is cool, but not random.

You're fine, I didn't take any offense to your statement.
