Now that the Wii comes bundled with Mario Kart and goes for $150, is it a good time to pick it up? Any suggestions? I did get a 3DS, not sure if its better to just hold off on the Wii until better 3DS games come out. I am not interested in the Wii-U.

It depends, some of the greatest games on the Wii are really unique and you'll miss out on them if you don't have an open mind. Do games like this interest you:

Those are just a few of my favorites, if any of those interest you, go for it :)

Yeah a wii is definitely worth buying, there are tonnes of games to keep you entertained and WiiU is still a long way off.

Yeah, a lot of the games are more like niche games, arcady games, and generally lighter (at least in tone, since there are some pretty tough games on the system) than those seen on the 360 and PS3. In additions to the games listed in this post, I'd say go to the reccomended games thread, and scroll through the list on the first page to see if those games interest you. If they do, then yeah. This is a great time to get a Wii, especially since you said that you're not interested in the Wii U. A lot of the games can be bought for pretty cheap. Some games are still full price (mainly new and first party games), but quite a few of them have great prices for them.

I doubt the system will get much cheaper. If you're curious I say take the plunge.

Thanks for the support. I will browser around and check out some titles I may be interested in. I do have a lot of Gamecube games I still play also. The Resident Evil games are looking pretty interesting :)
