The wii wheel is a gimmick. It's a plastic shell for the wii remote. You can just have your wii remote on it's side for raceing games, or use a gamecube controller for some.DurhamsterNo, it actually is much better than steering with just the remote. I personally have wheels from intec, which cost $10, each. The Wii Wheel is not very comfortable. The truth is, however, that using those wheels gives you much better control over your steering. I've used my wheels for Pro Street, Mario Kart, and Excite Truck!
