Hey Everyone. I got a 3DS XL about 2 months ago and I have been loving it so far. I currently own Pokémon X, Fire Emblem: Awakening, and Mario Golf World Tour. I'm looking into getting three of the following games next. I plan on getting them all eventually, but I'm limiting my self to threeat the moment due to budget (I have a $50 GC to Best Buy but I'm not looking to drop a huge load of cash at the moment) and gaming time available.

I am interested in all games, so you don't need to ask what genres I like. Which three would you recommend?

1. Animal Crossing: New Leaf

2. Mario Kart 7

3. Super Mario 3D Land

4. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team

5. Zelda: Ocarina of Time (haven't played it before)

6. Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

I'd go AC for sure, you can literally pour 100+ hours into that game, LoZ: Link between worlds and OOC if you haven't played it.

I'd go Animal Crossing, Super Mario 3D Land, and whatever Zelda game floats your boat (personally, I'd go for A Link Between Worlds). Don't buy two Zelda games at once. Too much of the same thing. Give yourself a Zelda game for when you want something more involved, Mario for when you just want to have quick access to fun, and Animal Crossing when you are feeling a bit lazy or stressed and just need to veg out.

if you have a wiiu and mario kart8 then i would skip mk7...if you dont have a wiiu...then get mk7 its great and has online for endless hours of rage lol....and fun.

zelda link between worlds is terrific but very short....i wouldnt pay full price

super mario 3d land is a must own for 3ds owners.

ocarina of time is a great long game thaat will last you a while...if you never played it...you have to. but be warned...its an old game...so its hard and maybe a bit boring to new gamers. if you already played it...then skip it. the 3d isnt very good on it...its the same game. graphics are still bad.

if animal crossing looks like a blast to you then you might end up adoring it.

mario luigi is cool rpg....if you are a big rpg only fan then maybe get this over the others?

I'm suggesting The zelda games, yes they may take some time but it's actually a good stop-and-go game where as you won't beat the game within a day or a week but you might beat the game somewhere as you go with your daily routine. I haven't played both but I'm planning on getting Zelda Ocarina of time before buying KH3D or ProjectXzone.

Ocarina of Time is legendary. Everyone should play it...Now that its on the 3DS, its the only version to play for a new comer.

@KBFloYd: I agree 100% with the Mario Kart statement. 7 & 8 are very similar but both really good.

ALBW is a great game but a bit easy... Definitely worth playing though especially if you liked A Link to the Past on SNES.

Ocarina is one of the greatest of all time but you can get it cheaper on other platforms probably.

I haven't played the rest...

Is 3D Land really good? I can't remember how people felt about it. I know 3D World on WiiU looks great.
