I'll try to do so, but they hardly do anything to make up for it...DemonIcedThis won't do much, but you can give the person who sold you the fake a bad rep. Also, I heard that new copies of TWEWY were made, so more people can buy them. So you couldn't find a copy at let's say, Best Buy or Gamestop?

Contact the seller and ask for a refund, or if you payed via PayPal, simply file a claim, and under the reason you can actually choose "Item was a copy" or something along those lines. I received a refund by doing that when I received burned CDs from a seller in the mail.plagueseason

I didn't have to send back the burned CDs when I won that paypal claim. If you do work something out with the seller though, they might make you send it back. Keep in mind, PayPal usually frowns upon filing claims without trying to communicate with the seller first though. I originally had contacted my seller several times without any response, and all they provided to PayPal was the proof of delivery, so the case was decided in my favor.
Like others have said, BEFORE you leave a bad feedback or contacting ebay, contact the seller. They may give you a refund and pay for the shipping if they realize you're going to come down on them. If that doesn't work, then contact ebay.
And in the future, when you see a deal that's way too good to be true, it is!
Not to sound discriminating or anything, but pretty much ANYTHING you buy from a Hong Kong ebay dealer is bootleg. My friend ordered Hotel Dusk from one and it came in a weird case and the manual was just the gamespot review folded up like a manual.
If you plan to order games from ebay, make sure you look in the description for "100% real" and "not a bootleg" and read the feedback carefully. But still, I'd strongly recommend you avoid those kind of sellers.

I sure will now... Haha.
I contacted the seller and he said he would give me full refund and "investigate the copy thing". So it might be OK, but I'll wait until I receive my Ninja Gaiden DS game to see if it's a copy too... (I sure hope it's not... :S)DemonIced

Tip #1 man, don't buy from other countries, usually ends up causing problems. Always buy from the US, so much more reliable.
Dude, it's almost ALL your fault for doing that never, ever EVER EVER EVEEEEEER times 20 million buy ANYTHING from Asia, 99.9999999% of the time you will receive something bootleg.
I'd at least contact ebay to try to get a refund (although it probably won't happen) and warn everyone about the user.
Think of this as a life lesson, if you see a game listed in asia (especially true if its a Nintendo game) assume its a bootleg.
1st contact ebay and the seller. Ebay should make everything right, you might loose out on your shipping but at least you will get some money back.
2nd, Never order out of your country, safer, cheaper, easier.
The fact thats its from Hong Kong and you got it at a cheap price should have raised an alarm. I learned my lesson when i bought a copy of Minish Cap on GBA, the damn thing had "Nintondo" printed on the back. But it worked and i got to play it 2 weeks before the US release date so i didn't try to get a refund but i would never do that again.
so in conclusion, never buy from overseas. Hong Kong is bootleg central. and don't listen to these fools about never buying electronics or media on ebay, its perfectly safe, just buy from sellers from the US and pay attention to feedback.

Dude it is WAY OVER exaggeration. You are WAY OVER generalizing your claims.
How come you claim buying ANYTHING from ANY Asian country is 99.9999999% bootleg?
A few points to say.
Buying from Japan is at least far much safer than buying in mainland China.
Mainland China suffers from serious piracy. You can even see people buying bootleg/non-working copies, fake and bad goods etc. openly on the street or shops. You should pay serious attention when you buy from mainland China.
Russia is no better than China. India and Thailand is also suffering from serious piracy problem.
Hong Kong is an international city with a mature law system. Even though piracy is still a problem but the situation is much better than in mainland China. With some caution it's safe to buy here.
By the way, when you see something is too good to be true, it's usually is. Try to buy from a reputable shop or buyer. Also you can always ask if it's bootleg before purchase. Just say you are someone who NEVER accept bootleg. I will examine clearly when I got it. If I found out I will complain by all means blah blah blah... (hinting that it's no good selling a bootleg to me since it only causes you trouble, so just be frank about that)
If the seller says yes, you can pass it. If the seller says no *after he knows he will be in great trouble of selling a bootleg to you*, it should be okay.
