Every year is a great year for the DS, this year is no different.
It's got great software in so many different genres. You're always looking forward to the next game while there's a pile of software just waiting to be played that's already released.
This year looks great. The DS is being bombarded with tons of RPG's and Platformers in particular. There's so much variety, if you don't think anything good's coming out you obviously aren't looking very hard.
Sorta Kinda might have.. I mean come on, bunch of cool games came out and are coming out, but alot have been that same old rpg formula. If they would've or will add in some games for the "old school" gamer like N+, then this year probabaly would've been the best for now.
Meh... what really came out this year? The World Ends with You, and... yeah... that's it. :? I mean there were some halfway decent games but those aren't memorable.

In my opinion, it's been a fantastic year for the DS, I believe the DS is the best handheld but not because of the system itself, but because of the great library of games it has to offer. I also love it because it's simple but entertaining and most of all: tons of fun.
For a while, I thought it said Best Year fo rthe DS, in which case I would have had to say "no it's not" but then I saw it said Great, and could say definitely! This is another great year for the DS. So many great games have come out thus far and we still have so many others to look forward to. It's such a beautiful thing. I've never experienced such a barrage before.

I´m sorry but I just can´t sit back and believe that Sonic is going to be any good. I mean it maybe good for sonic lovers, and I´m thinking about getting some of the recent sonic games, but this one I do´nt think is going to be good. It isn´t done yet so I´m still undecided but the game and controls look and sound like any other basic RPG. I´d rather just get Magical Starsign instead so I can get some flavor. From what it looks like the battles are going to get old quick.
Mind you! I hope i´m totally wrong and its amazing.
This is going to be, and already is, an AMAZING year for the ds. With so many great looking rpgs like dragon quest 4 and 9, ff4, Chrono Trigger DS, etc., coming out, and great games already out like Prof. Layton and TWEWY, it will be amazing.
