No joke. The large city based on New York has a place demolished, by a "meteor". Any thoughts?

It is based of a NY. It could be a desert behind it! Oh noes!
And it wasn't destroyed by a meteor.
Kyurem came from a meteor and that's all the way across the map.
This is brought up way too much. People should start talking about Yamask's dex entry instead. :(

White entry: These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life.
Black entry: Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.
It's just saddening.

And I agree with Astral. Seriously, this story is bogus. The meteor didn't even land any where near the alleged "Ground Zero".
Edit: Shoot, you beat me to it :P Darn slow connection.
It's just saddening.AstralDrmzMeh... a lot of pokedex entries are rather disturbing. Almost all the ghost pokemon have disturbing entries; here are some other ones I find disturbing. Cubone: "Wears the skull of its deceased mother. Its cries echo inside the skull and come out as a sad melody" (Yellow). Parasect: "When nothing's left to extract from the bug, the mushrooms on its back leave spores on the bug's egg" (Crystal). "It stays mostly in dark, damp places, the preference not of the bug, but of the big mushrooms on its back" (Gold). Darukmaka: "Darumaka's droppings are hot, so people used to put them in their clothes to keep themselves warm" (White). This one is just weird, so I thought I would throw it in there.
All I see is a desert with construction workers and a castle. Nothing looks destroyed. :|
If you compare the Unova map with a NYC map, the location of Ground Zero would be in Castelia City. The desert would be somewhere north of Chinatown.
I'm still wondering how they concluded that a meteorite destroyed Route 4. The meteorite that fell in Unova created the Giant Chasm which is miles away from Route 4. It's where Kyurem came from, like Astral said, and Kyurem has no connection to 9/11 since its height is 9'10''. :P
Silly people and their silly theories. :PANIMEguy10034

Drifloon and Drifblim trick kids into grabbing onto them so that they can take them to the afterlife. And Drowzee abducts children to eat their dreams, which is supposedly a worse fate than death. Pokemon might be bright, but it also has a very dark side as well.

It just shows you that Pokemon isn't really for kids :P
Is it ironic that the creator died in the earthquakeMastermyndedI wish people would ask if it's true instead of spreading this false rumour as fact. This didn't happen at all. Whoever told you that, tell them they're an idiot.

I'm glad its only a rumor but it almost seems an appropriate earthquake rumor given the Japanese and International censorship of information surrounding this incident.[QUOTE="LaytonsCat"][QUOTE="Mastermynded"]Is it ironic that the creator died in the earthquake which is now spewing man-made toxins into the environment shortly after these version come out.Mastermynded
