GS gives KH:358/2 Days an 8.0

Great score a little lower then aexpected though. But Every other place has given it a score around that range.

It's good, but I'm still probably won't buy it. It's a lot like Crisis Core in the story department; not addinganything worthwile to the story, only this time the character it revolves around, Xion, is not likable.

Ive played kingdom hearts when i was young and loved it.

Im buying this game no matter and im hyping 80.0-8.5 personal score

Cool beans. Not a huge fan of the KH series, but thought I'd give the DS version a try since I got a good deal on it. Hoping the portable version will more to my liking.

Makes me wonder why they score a game that hasn't been released yet while we are still waiting for a Mario & Luigi score.SiK99

At first I wasn't sure if you were just complaining, then I read the review.

M&L 3 is recommended for people who enjoyed this game. A game with no score is being referred alongside games rated 8-9.

I know we're not supposed to mention Kane & Lynch without being relevant, but it's really obvious that the non-review is. Would it really score so low that the advertising be pulled? Is this really Nintendo's doing, to get news stories out gradually and keep others interested long enough to see a number? Are you waiting for the round of 4 (or his leave) before you tie the game to Mario?

We've been in the dark about this long enough, Scribblenauts had a bigger place in terms of what it meant for gaming, but Kingdom Hearts DS could not have taken the two weeks between to neglect a Nintendo game. I don't understand, during the great alexa ratings push, why you would hold out on something that could put you in the top 100?

Nice. I own all three (not including remake. But I haven`t gotten very far in the first for some reason.) and I can`t wait to pick this one up.

Scored higher than I thought. I have it partially payed off so I'll get it eventually.

I was expecting an 7.5 to be honest. Glad, its higher. I honestly cannot wait.

The way the review was worded it sounded more like they would have given it a 9 but 8 is still good. It really wouldn't have mattered what they gave it though because I'd still be picking this up Tuesday and I'm sure I'll love it just like every other KH game. Can't wait.

Xion, from what I've read, is a support character. The story is largely about Roxas.

Well I thought it would get this score, but still, SE fans are still going to go crazy over this. But seriously, if you look at the reviews for all the other KH games they've never really been considered an exceptional series critically.

It is very slow at the beginning, baby steps you through the tutorial, but once the training wheels are off, its a great game.

Review seemed fair. I have to admit I was expecting an 8.5, but I'm sure they had their reasons, (repetition, wonky camera, etc.)

I thought they would have given the game a higher score myself, and the review did sound as if it did receive a higher score. Still, an 8 is pretty good for this place, and I'm looking forward to the release.

As for Mario and Luigi, I have no idea why they didn't review it. To be honest, I don't care all that much about the game, and if I do pick it up, it won't be until I see a price drop.

It didn't matter to me what the game scored, I plan on buying it right at release and it'll probably end up being my favorite DS game. :)

Slightly better than I was expecting. I will get it as soon as I am done with Mario and Luigi 3.

its a good game but far too much content was recycled from KH 1 and 2.

I got it today. So far its a bit boring but I'm only up to the tutorial :P

Combat is slow btw I hope you can upgrade the speed.

No, the game deserves an 8, the reason why it should not get a 9 is because the game is good, not great. The replay value is minimal because the missions are very run of the mill and boring after you defeat the main enemies in each one. There are other minimal reasons that add up to a game below a 9, but doesn't knock it down below an 8.
