the wii mote will rumble, unlike the other versions, and when you miss a note the noise will come out of the speaker

its a way for them to make it wireless as well. not to mention, when you mess up the sound comes from the Wii remote speaker, instead of the TV. it makes it more realistic. Plus, the Wii remote vibrates to the rhythm of the song.

for motion sensing when you go into star mode and its less expensive because they don`t have to put the motion sensors in the wii version like the ps3 or 360 versions, so I gues the reason for putting the wii-mote in there is because it`s more cost affective. The only down side to that is you can`t change the fceplates on the wii guitar.

I like the inclusion of it, but I wish we didn't have to see it. It makes the guitar look ugly compared to the others.

Putting the wiimote in there is an incredibly effective way of making it wireless. Plus the wii version has a joystick used just for opening up the game and navigating the menus.

Because without how would you plug the guitar in? It's more cost efficient to use the Wii Remote, and I don't see the problem with it anyways...?
