Is anyone as excited as I am about GH3? It's gonna be insane. Gamespot will probably give it 7.5 or something and the 360/PS3 versions 9.5. Just watch. john358
Yes and yes. I am really looking forward to it especially as I've missed out on GH1 & 2 AND the song list seems to be really great this time around. I couldn't care less about GS's reviews.
I am really excited for it. I am in desperate need of a good multiplayer game and GH3 will definately deliver. I think the Wii version will get an 8 and the 360 and PS3 versions will get an 8.5. There's no question the other versions will do better. The Wii doesn't have the downloadable content the others do so when the Wii version does come out with a worse score don't blame GS's bias, it is, in fact, a lesser game.JAB991
The Wii will receive the downloadable content feature only some months later. In addition, the Wii has a few things the other versions don't, such as rumble feedback and the sore tones coming thru the wiimote's speakers.

I don't think rumbe in Guitar Hero is nearly as cool as downloadable content. Also, there are no plans for downloadable content. The Wii simply doesn't have the memory for it. If a haraddrive was announced then it would be possible but Nintendo has denyed this many times and insist that there are no plans for any form of memory expansion.

There was a thread about this. It was actually confirmed by a GH3 developer that the wii would have access to downloadable content later on. And from what I've heard, the feedback feels really, really nice.

Link for confirmation? All I've heard is that they were still talking with Nintendo about it. As it was mentioned before, the fact is that until Nintendo releases an HD, there will be no DLC. Period.

Wrong wrong. DLC is part of the wiiware service. That will come in March. It doesn't require a HD. The wiiware games are bigger the song packs are. It's just the infrastructure for them to be on the shop channel won't be active till March.
Read the effing shacknews previews and other interviews. Redoctane didn't ever say DLC would not come. The guy was misquoted the existance of online play should have clued you into that.
The wii version has better online then the PS3 version does. Also the feedback guess what that exists on real electric amped guitars.
Please point an interveiw where the DLC is denied.
