Anyone know anything?

ign does but they wont tell us :(. We know it will have an actual guitar controller, online multiplayer, and downloadable content, and also co-op modes.
Wiimote/Nunchuk involvement is unknown.
Niiiice... can't wait for it. It really pissed me off when they released GH2 for the 360 with downloadable content. It just made my PS2 version seem so obsolete.
Guitar Hero = overrated. I am, however, interested in this "Rock Band" spinoff game.SpaceMountain86
You must not like rock and metal musicÂ

Or he might just be into heavier stuff than the pop-type rock and metal they choose for GH. Or perhaps he's really into guitar and would prefer it to be a more accurate representation of playing a real guitar. Don't get me wrong I'm not badmouthing GH; it's great for people who want to play guitar but never got round to learning, but I don't recommend it to people who play a lot guitar or bass.
I have plenty of friends who play real guitar and love Guitar Hero. My boyfriend is a fantastic guitarist and has been playing for 12 years and he loves the game.
It's pointless assuming who does and doesn't like it.Â
It's just like any other games, some will like it and some won't.

I bet his skills didn't transfer over quickly though, my uni lecturer teaches rock and classical guitar and can't stand the game because it makes you feel so limited. In real live he can sweep pick and tap with all four fingers on each hand at the same time, but I've seen him struggle to play a Nirvana song on GH rofl. I'm just saying if you're proficient on guitar or bass this game is frustrating, it's like being good at sculpting and then someone giving you some pretend clay that's a lot harder to work with if you've gotten used to sculpting with the real stuff.

Dude, GH isn't a guitar sim, it's just a rhythm game. It doesn't matter if you actually play guitar or not, it's still great.
gutair hero 3 wont be on the wii untill 2008 same goes for the ds version. zcds

I guess that goes along with the article I just read in my new Game Informer : "Nintendo Nixes Online for 2007" Apparently aside from Pokemon, we won't be seeing any online releases this year. Sorry fellas. Doesn't really bother me that much, I can wait, but now we're going to have to wade through pages of "Oh noes teh Wii is dead without online!" threads.

Yea I agree, I'm not bashing the game; it does a great job of recreating the guitar experience while still being accesible to people who've never played guitar.

cha... for now. sometimes It takes a while to liscense a song, make a cover for it, and create the game "sheet music" for it.
