the first word i read was "Spong" that actual news is fake. Guitar hero coming to the Wii... most likely though, since they did say it was coming to all next gen platforms. but the DS... thats iffy.
Guitar Hero on the Wii will own. The only problem I have with that is I already have two guitars for my PS2. Guitar hero on the DS would be a little bit weird. I mean could picture trying to play with either A: a full size guitar with that tiny screen, or B: a tiny guitar on that tiny screen? :lol: Seriously though I'm not sure how it would work all that well on the DS. Then again they could really suprise us.
Its not coming to both the actual quote says Activision are bringing there most popular Franchises to the Wii or DS, then they listed Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, and Guitar Hero, so basically it means either Wii or DS.

i think it means that several games would be coming to the wii and ds, i doubt he meant guitar hero would come to the ds, too. that would be stupid, if you think that guitar hero would come to the ds, your stupid. period.
Sweet. I wonder if they are going to have you play the guitar on the Wii version with the wiimote. I mean if you hold it just right its kind of like a guitar fret or better yet they make a guitar extension that links off of the main wiimote.
GH on the DS wouldn't be all that bad. Think pressing A,B,X,Y and/or tapping places at the same time on the bottom screen where the scale comes at you with the different colors and the top screen being where the performance is going on as you play. Mix that with a bit of Elite Beat agents and some good classic and southern rock (maybe a few new songs but they had better be good) and the DS vesion could be really great... On the wii, losing controller connectivity to the wii after a while of your wii-mote hanging down from the guitar it's plugged into (unless it will rest on the guitar somehow, would be the only issue I could see. However the Wii does bring forth the controller already needed for a "Drum Hero" game sould they decide to make one... unless they get fancy and include foot pedals that connect in the NGC controller slots.

I definitely think they'll produce a guitar controller for the Wii. I just have to wonder if it'll hook into the Wiimote or if it'll be wired and use the GameCube ports. I'd actually prefer the latter.
