What do you guys think about Guitar Hero coming for the DS? I personally think it'll suck, just by seeing its set-up. Guitar Hero II was probably my favorite out of the series.

With only 20 songs, what's the point. Unless they are going to start coming out yearly. Or perferably twice a year. I don't know,it probably won't be that fun.

I think it will be great for the DS. If you've ever played Ouendan(japanese)for the DS then you'll know what I mean.

I'm very skeptical about this one. I've held my ds in the way that it shows the controller and pretended to strum, and the problems that I found were just figuring out where to put my thumb without hitting the L button (hopefully doesn't do anthing in game) and without having to worry about popping the game out. If they figure out how to fix both those, i don't think it'll be that bad. I mean, there's always guitar hero mobile for your phones that you can play, and that'll probably dissapoint you more.
Then again I could be bang on or completely off. It's up to whoever plays it if they like it or not.

It seems like it might be fun, but I'm still not sure about how well strumming and stuff on the DS is going to work out. O_o

Over 20 songs.

And i think it'll be great, hopefully they have more than just the one game, though.

I don't think it would be very good on the DS. Screen Size would be a problem.

It probably will be a good game but the replay value wouldn't be so great i mean you can only play the same song 100 Times My Verdict: good game but wouldnt be worth the money :(

why would your thumb be by the L button? unless your thumb is like.. inverted.

i held it and my thumb sticks out to the right. keep in mind there will be a strap on it holding your hadn in place for more comfort.

I actually like the new add on thingy, but the selection of songs is kinda too little for it to be enjoyed for some time.

Hmm all we know is this i think:

The IGN preview of the game stated that more than 20 licensed tracks will be available in the game, including songs by Nirvana, OK Go, and No Doubt. No song titles have been confirmed, though "Do What You Want" by OK Go is used in the trailer. According to the official website, the game will include "the most diverse set of master tracks ever on a Guitar Hero game." Also according to the site, it will include cla55ic, rock, rock, pop and most likely metal tracks.Wikipedia

"more than 20 licensed tracks"

Lol that game is awesome :)

And I think GH should be ok for the DS, they've done pretty well with what they can get out of the DS setup :)

i don't think it'll work, simply because not enough people would want to play it, because almost everybody has it on a home console if they want to play it, and it would look kind of crazy playing it on the bus or anywhere that isn't your home, where you could just play it for a console.

Well, i like music games, more on the DS,. i have the 2 Ouendan games and EBA, so i'm interested on Guitar Hero for DS, people say 20 songs isn't enough but for me is enough, i don't play all the song on the consoles versions of Guitar Hero, also with the 19 songs of Ouendan 2 i said "damn! 19 songs! theres a lot!"

If it's like Guitar Hero II for consoles, it could be great.

However, if they start throwing in garbage songs the way they did on GH3, there's no way. They need something more challenging than Nirvana and OK GO, which is pretty much all they've announced.
