Is there any slowdown on the Wii version?
Will there be DLC for the Wii version?
Is there really a difference between the Wii and PS3/360 versions graphically?
How much do individual Wii guitars cost?

THere will be downloadable content and no there is hardly a graphical difference(since they are all ports of each other)
The poster above me is absolutely wrong.
1. As far as I know, there isn't.
2. As of right now, no. Unless Nintendo release a hard drive, there won't be anything available.
3. Yes. While the 360 and PS3 versions share a graphics engine, so does the Wii with the PS2 versions. Unless I've been misinformed.
4. I have no idea. You should try calling stores that sell them or looking around online.
I dont have this game but Im pretty sure that there will be no downloadable content... I think they said they could add that feature in the future if Nintendo ever announces a Hard Drive.THere will be downloadable content and no there is hardly a graphical difference(since they are all ports of each other)

Downloadable hasn't been ruled out by the developer.
The effing song packs are the size of a N64 game people!!!
PS3 version looks horrible and has horrible online gameplay. Xbox 360 version is glitchy and full of bugs.
Individual guitars will be available in 2008 look on the redoctane website.
Seriously the reviews proclaiming the wii version had cardboard cutouts are effing liars or have crummy tvs.

1. Nope. I haven't come across any sort of slowdown or lag yet.
2. Red Octane said they were working closley with Nintendo to get downloadable content for the Wii versionin the future
3. IMO. PS3/360 graphics for the game are superior to Wii's but not buy a HUGE margin
4. I don't think I've seen any yet in stores
1. no slowdowns not even on online.
2. no dlc.
3.graphics are obviously better on 360 but it doesnt matter since its guitar hero.
4. not selling extra guitars till next year.
you should also now the 360 has better online since you can communicate and download songs but the wii version is better then the ps3 version.
I just got this game and love it. I noticed that it performed a Wii system update when I played it the first time. Also, there is a Nintendo WiFi option selectable at the main menu in the game, but I haven't checked it out yet. What does this feature do?davis_amw
allows you to play against people online duh.
1) There is no apparent slowdown
2) There is no downloadable content at the moment, but there will be in the (hopefully near) future
3) I don't know how different they are but I assume the 360 and PS3 versions look better. However, according to reviews the 360 and PS3 versions do suffer from slowdown. Oh and when you are playing the game you rarely notice anything other than the fret bar in the center of the screen.
4) There are no extra guitars available at the momen, however they should be at least $10 cheaper than the wireless guitars for the other versions as the use the bluetooth in the Wii mote.
I don't think people here are understanding what you are asking for with "Slowdown". Yes the wii version does have slow down, it is where you can practice sections of a song(ex. intro 1, solo 3 etc.) at slower speeds so you can master songs. you can do them at full speed, slow, slower or slowest. It's really the only way to truly master a song. I hope that helps answer your question. In order to get to that section you go to Tutorial-Practice- Pick your song - then chose a section of the song or all of it and pick the speed.Jiggernauts
Because the poster did not specify, they can be talking about slowdown in the practice mode or slow down in the frame rate. When playing single player, I have not experienced slow down for the frame rate, but online I have had some lag (could very well be because of my school's network) which cause slow down and actually messed me up during a Pro-Face Off (I did win that game though :D). But if the TC is referring toslowdown for the practice mode, then yes, the three modes of slowdown are in the Wii version also.
As to the graphics, the 360 probably looks the most polished, but when you are playing the game, graphics really do not matter. As for the DLC, as somebody said, Activision was in talks with Nintendo to try and get DLC. If it happens, I do not think it will happen until Nintendo starts the new service to download indie games.
