Hackers Ruining Mario Kart Wii

Someone figured out to hack Mario Kart Wii (I believe they used the Twilight Princess softmod hack), and I've actually seen it happen a few times.

1) A few days ago, I was playing Battle online, and one guy had constant star power. I thought "Maybe it's a weird glitch", but as I later found out, I was wrong.

2) Earlier today, I hit a guy with a bomb, he flew into the air, his character blinked for a few seconds (indicating that he had been hit), but no coins came out. I ran over him later with the Big Mushroom (twice), same thing.

3) Not 5 minutes ago, my girlfriend was in a match with a guy who could keep sending Blue Shell after Blue Shell.

I didn't catch the name of the first guy, because I wasn't sure if it was a cheat or not, but here are the other 2 guys who I've caught cheating:

I recommend not playing them if you see them online.

It's destroying MKWii for me, which sucks because it's my favorite online Wii game.

Anyway, have any of you noticed this happening? Also, have you contacted Nintendo to see what they say?

I haven't noticed, I don't play it often, besides playing with you -- That sucks though.

That blue shell thing is really dumb. If only their was a mic.. I'd mic spam and embarrass those guys non stop -- "So I see you suck at this game, so you've resorted to hacking. Your maddddd cause you cant playyyy"

Most likely. I know that they can use the hack in the Grand Prix races, so I'm sure they figured that one out too.

Yes, they use a hack so they have infanent Blue Shells.

yeah I hate that whenever I was online there would be someone spamming blue shells every ten seconds

No, they probably wont, but thay might when people stop buying there game because they hear hackers are ruining it. Even then they still probably wont do anything about it.

The funny thing is that some people might think that i am a hacker.

We have a cordless phone in our house (as well as corded phones) and everytime the phone rings it makes my internet connection not work (it has something to do with the cordless phone) so it disconnets me, and automatically makes me come in first, so i get plus points.

The thing is i dont know if the other people im racing see me as coming in first when this happens.

Also it does not work everysingle time the phone rings only random. and i do not use this to cheat and win, i only got my brother to phone the house from his cellphone once or twice

Ive seen people Hacking the online tournaments, i remember one that it was to drive around N64 DK´s jungle Parkway 3 times avoiding Diddy and DK tossing bananas at you, one guy had a time of 00.00.639 seconds, obvious Hack...hes name was Hack something XD

yea.. the thing is I do not have taht many friends that ahve MK and that can play at the time I can... I guess is time to start looking for friends I know here and that would not be hackers...

I've only had it once on Brawl, every time someone got a final smash and started 'glowing' (like you do when you get a smash ball) player 4 executed their final smash. It happened 3 times on the same match, player 4 always got the smash when other players would obtain the ball. There is no other explanation for this other than a hacker. Especially considering player 4 just stood still at the side of the arena and only got kills with their final smash.

I stopped playing MKWii altogether about 6 weeks ago, there was hacking then. I can only imagine it will get worse.
