Harvest Moon DS

I am thinking about getting this game, so I looked at some reviews, but they are very mixed because some say its bad, and some say its good. I've also heard that theres a girl version, but is it the same as the one where you're a boy, apart from the fact you're a girl instead?

Yes this is a good game if you like Havest Moon it is alot like the gba one and yes there is a girl Havest Moon.

but it gets boring faster than the other harvest moons. and the fun stuff sometimes becomes a chore. Get rune factory instead.

Yeah,I agree,get Rune Factory instead.It was released only a day ago.Its like Harvest moon with an RPG element. Couple of newstuff in Rune Factory, capture monsters, make them work in your field, and some more I can't remember.

I didnt like how kiddy all the characters look in HMDS, or how if you married one of the girls from mineral town, the game would end. I also would say get rune factory, but watch out for the horrid english voices D:

I adore HM, but what's the difference between rune factory? Anything uber-special?

The Girl version is actually upgraded, if you hadn't realised it but the girl version always comes out second, this is to work out the bugs, then they make the boys one as V1.1, which also doesn't have any bugs. Also, if you wait until the girls version, you can marry the same gender XD
