I wanted to buy a new 3DS game and I narrowed it down to three games.

Devil Survivor: Overclocked

Starfox 64 3D

and

BlazeBlue

I ended up choosing Devil Survivor: Overclocked because I didnt play the original and always wanted to.

What would you have choosen?

I never played the new version of the Devil Survivor game, or starfox or blazblue, however, I know those 2 games don't have wifi multiplayer. So I would have made the same choice as you.

Probably StarFox. I am not a big fighting genre fan so I woould pass on BlazeBlue because of that. I would pass on Devil because I tried the DS version and did not care for it. Again primarily because I am not a big strategy/tactical rpggamer. The other reason I would go with Starfox is that I never played the original version so it is a new experience for me.

You made a good choice unless you never played the original SF64

Not sure how Devil Survidor is for an RPG, I mean, compared to modern ones, but I think I would have choose Starfox 64 3D

You made the right choice. Devil Survivor is a great game, and has an amazing story.

You made a good choice *I bought Blazeblue on impulse and simply don't get it...and I find I prefer the DoA or Tekken fighting systems*

That's hard, there's a problem with each of those games as far as I'm concerned...

SMT: DSO doesn't even look good for a DS game, seems like a waste of the 3DS' talents

Blazblue doesn't have online

Starfox doesn't add enough to the game to justify paying 40 dollars on it, and it's notoriously short...

Probably SMT: DSO is the best of them if you haven't played the original, it was fantastic. :P One of the few games these days I actually wanted to play through twice. :)

Given the same decisions, I chose StarFox 64. Man, I love that game. I feel justifyed in my purchase. The improved graphics are beautiful and the controls are slick. It's a game where the 3D actually seems to add something to the game. It's almost as if that is the way that the game was meant to be played.

I would've chosen Star Fox since I already have Devil Survivor on the DS and the new one doesn't change much (and being playable on the same system, etc.). Blazblue doesn't appeal to me, so no way I'd get that. Star Fox it would be, but I'd wait for a price drop. I'll also wait on a price drop for Devil Survivor. The extra goodies just aren't worth the money right now.

I'm actually facing these 3 exact game decisions right now as I plan to buy a 3DS tomorrow after school. I've played all 3 previous games (original SMT: DS, SF64 and BB1), and I honestly loved all of them, but I'm buying two. I think I'll be leaving Star Fox out for it's short story and lack of Wi-Fi (I love N64 classics, but Nintendo relies on remakes a little too much, IMO). I know BlazBlue also lacks it, but I'm more interested in it than SF. Overclocked is really important to pick up NOW though, because it's an Atlus game, which usually become rarer to buy as time goes on, and all of Atlus' games are fantastic.

I already played Devil Survivor, and I'm not a fan of 2D fighting games, so I'd go with Star Fox. I remember having lots of fun with the game on the N64.

Star Fox is an amazing game im really enjoying it...even though its short, its fun to play through different paths and try to hit as many targets by the end to get as much money as possible at the end of the game, plus the music is really good.

I just bought starfox earlier today. I've heard complaints about DS:O because the bulk of the gameplay is on the lower screen. You can't go wrong with starfox. I've heard bad things about blazblue.
