My Wii has never Frozen. My N64 froze from time to time - especially in later years. My PS2 froze rearly 5 times a year tops. My 360 froze more during the first month than my PS2 during the first 5 years, more than all my consoles combined after 6 months. My PS3 has never frozen. My old PC's froze a lot, but Windows XP solved most those problem.
Mine has never frozen which i have been impressed with thus far but im sure it could occur. It isnt that uncommon for gaming devices to lock up sometimes. And if its got a Microsoft badge its a promised lock up
Mine freezing occasionally while loading up the shop channel, or when I'm using the browser and on a site with heavy bandwidth (that one is understandable). Apart from that never for any games or anything else.
it just happened to me yesterday while playing super paper mario. it froze when i entered a door so maybe it coudn't read the data or something, and ive had my wii for only 2 weeks!
Well it froze once, when i first got the web browser.. i was frantically going back and forth on some big sites.. that killed it.
And i do get a strange clicking noise when i play Zelda sometimes... i just save.. turn it off and continue.. or turn my wii flat and it doesn't make that sound.
But its all trivial. The GC clicked all the time.. at least the wii is a little quieter.
