Mine has gone corrupt quite a few times... Well not exactly the memory card, it's only the SSBM save, it has a maaaajor tendency of ****ing up.... I have it backed up on another card...
But it happened with my GC too.
Actually, mine did whileon the Wii. I don't think I did anything particularly bad to it. It mighthave beensome sort ofcompatability issuecaused while it was running on the Wii. I now use my Gamecube to play Gamecube games, butit's no big deal since it was already hooked up anyways. I wrote about it in my first blog entry too. It's a stupid article, but it got my point across.
I just hated losing all my hard earned data, and the card too... :(
But I now use an SD card to back up my Wii games so it won't happen this generation!:D
3rd party madcatz 1064 block card.......peice of trash, sometimes it worked but sometimes i would have to start over:evil:
Well until i got animal crossing's memory card :D
Then i got another nintendo one after:)
The madcatz card made me have a wind waker play time of 80+ hours:evil:
Really annoying becuase i was 9 at the time.
But those times are over....i hope(looks at sd card)
Six!!!!!!!!! GlitchRocksTwo 59's, three 251's and one 1019. It's because I have like 50 Gamecube games and don't trade used games in any more.
[QUOTE="meimnobody"]Let me guess third party mem card. vnc20100
Yeah I bought a 32 meg third party mem card and I'm hoping it will not get corrupted. Nothing happpened so far, but I guess I should have multiple saves for ToS
I think early third party ones did that. Like the ones with lots of space, they were really unstable so they were easily corrupted or something.
