I have one, can't wait until the release of Super Mario 3D World. Otherwise I have all my Wii games and VC games I play, and Ducktales Remastered, which is quite fun. I may actually pick up some more Wii U games in the coming weeks with Black Friday approaching.
Unlike the Wii, the Wii U does not have enough exclusives to justify getting the money's worth in its first year.
This.
When it does, I will absolutely purchase one.
I'm about as on the fence as it gets with the Wii U, really want one but don't know if it is truly for me yet.

If you know a friend who has a Wii U, try it there. It should help you decide. The demo kiosks don't do the system justice.
I got it at launch and I don't regret it, although I can understand why people feel otherwise. Games like Black Ops 2, Monster Hunter and Injustice kept me busy for a long while but I'll admit the drought of games from April to August was absolutely terrible.
Alot of people write off the tablet controller as gimmicky but it has grown on me so fast. Seriously, having additional features like 5 players, dual screen cooperative play, off tv play, easiest TV web browsing, and heck, even the universal remote, I've never had this many conveniences from a console. Now all it needs are great games which I'm sure it won't be a problem after this holiday or next year.
I got a Deluxe a couple of weeks after launch. It's a good system, but I don't play it very much. It needs more games that interest me. Also, I haven't been playing video games in general (mainly a PC gamer) nearly as much as I usually do, so there's that.
Yes, loved playing the classic SNES Earthbound along with other downloadable games like Little Inferno and The Cave (not Nintendo exclusives). Other favorites are New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, Rayman Legends and having lots of fun with The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD. The Swift Sail is a nice little added bonus with other updated features in the game. Most surprising to me is how Miiverse has become a nice way to interact with tons of Wii U fans.
I like Art Academy SketchPad too and seeing incredible artists post their work on Miiverse. My most anticipated game I'm looking forward to is Super Mario 3D. The wait is short now.
Bought one just today, actually. The Zelda bundle. After seeing the launch lineups for the PS4 and X1, I decided to wait, and get a Wii U now.
Got one at launch. Have been and continue to enjoy it. Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and Zombie U are my current games. Started with Arkham City, Darksiders 2, Scribblenauts, and Lego City which kept my interest early, VC titles, Nano Assault, Zen Pinball, The Cave, and NFS Most wanted helped fill the void before Windwaker.
Would still like to get Rayman, Dues X, Wonderful 101, and Lego Marvel. Looking forward to Mario Bros 3D World not to mention Mario Kart, Bayonetta 2, Watch Dogs, and X.
And people say it doesn't have any games. Pshaw!
