Well, I got them to play Wii Sports and they love it. My dad enjoys watching me play Twilight. They think that the graphics are good, and they also enjoy playing WarioWare once in a while.
My parents played it the third day I had it and they played Wii Sports all day long, and then they decided they will get there own when more become available.
My dad lives in another state than I do, but when he came to visit he played bowling on Wii Sports. He liked it a lot actually and we played quite a few rounds.
My father loves wii sports bowling. He use to bowl semi-professionally but due to arthritis had to give it up, but i asked him to try wii bowling and he kicked my butt at it his first try. Who knew the Big N's philosophy would actually be true?
My mum was sceptical at first. She is a sony fan, after the huge success of the PS2, she was biased towards them, but as soon as I got her to go on the wii she loved it. Now she hates sony, although that was done when she heard the price of the PS3, I like to think the wii had a little something to do with it.
I had it over my mothers house for Thanksgiving last year, she tried it out once she saw my 3yr old neice bowling and playing Golf. She enjoyed Wii Sports.
Ya I got my mom to play the Rayman with me which is hillarious lol She loves the cow toss thing. She also tried Warioware lol ha which is the funniest thing i ever seen. A few years ago I got her addicted to Animal Crossing somehow, on the Gamecube and she is 52 years old.

Same with my parents. They're the kid of people who believes video games created a generation of anti-socials. I thought that if they tried the wii, they'd enjoy it and then change their minds about video games (which is what happens a lot in other stories I here on this site). But when my mom played wii bowling she couldn't figure out how to throw the ball! and now she dislikes it even more. I can't help but think it's all an act. I mean how hard is it to swing your arm?!
I went home for spring break after I bought the Wii. My parents wanted to see it in action first, so I showed them Zelda and hit a few homeruns in baseball, but so far my dad is the only one to pick it up and play a round of tennis and bowling with me. I don't get it though, with tennis he hits it the same way every time (early i think) and the ball kinda lobs into the air. I kept trying to show him how to swing and the timing, but he enjoyed hitting his way. He tried bowling also and broke 100. He's going in for surgery on his vertebrae (bone rubbing against his spinal chord) and I'll be back home during his recovery time. He really wants to play a WW2 shooter while he's home recovering. He even has offered to buy the game. Another Wii addict in the bag. Now to just get my mom hooked on it (cooking mama FTW!).
