Yes. My N64's controllers socket just stop working, my Gamecube had audio problems from the day I bought it. It made crackling noises in the sound and it was real irritating, and as for my Wii...well, it froze once and it wouldn't shut off. I had to unplug it. I've never had trouble with any other consoles before. I'm finding it hard to believe Nintendo has "high quality" products.

I clicked a few occasions, but I really meant to click "once." I have a dead pixel on my DS screen, which doesn't bug me once but I might replace it one of these days.

A while back I dropped my GB color and the screen got kinda fuzzy and the sound was distorted, but then I dropped it again on accident and it started working like it was brand new.

Yeah, it feels the same here, but I'm not worrying too much :).

Nintendo products with problems:

  • GC with lens problems out of the box. Nintendo repairing it twice didn't help me anything so I had to do my very best to get it replaced before the warranty would have been expired. 2nd GC: still no problems!
  • DS lite is getting stuck pixels after a little less than a year (odd isn't it?). I won't replace it though, cause Nintendo isn't obliged to give me a new one in my country, and I'd rather have a few dead pixels than other possible problems.

i did once. but it was my fault. a cartridge(on the GBC fyi) wouldn't read properly so i slammed it in really hard and then the gameboy stopped reading stuff properly. i have to sorta half pull it out half insert it for it to work.

Nope. I do have a gamecube controller with a sticky b button and you can see all its wires because it broke, but it wasnt made by Nintendo. And my sister had a dead pixl on her ds, but all my nintendo stuff still works. Even my Super Nintendo.

Power glove was designed by Nintendo using NASA tech. It was based on a ten thousand dollar waldo unit. The actually manufactoring of the units was by a third party.

What country do you live in? In the US and Japan Nintendo replaces DSs with just one dead pixel. Sony on the other hand had to have had tons of complaints filed against them before they changed the policy on how many dead pixels the psp had to have before it was replaced.

You have only one year with the warranty to get it replaced for free. Should have done it from the start. One dead pixel gets you a replacement DS in the first year.

Dude the game freezing happens on all consoles. It happens on pcs. Doesn't matter who makes it. It often occurs if you have a long play session or the game has bugs.

Why the flying **** didn't you call Nintendo and had the unit replaced if it had sound issues or the controller socket stopped working? Nintendo replaces the units for free in those cases. Sony and MSoft charge you through the roof for those issues.

Aye, I know that, but I seem to have lost my purchase receipt. So... I'm not really sure of how to proof when I bought it. =/

Well.. I could say Nintendo is a "Really Tough Product".. Ive dropped my DS at least 10 times.. I've spilt many items on it.. It got slammed into a car door.. And I also left it in the rain. And it still works like a charm. And surprisingly enough, i've never had a dead pixel. *Knock on wood*.. Nintendos products just work for me... Lol..

My Gamecube and my Wii both broke, I didn't bother to get the Gamecube fixed 3 years ago when I was 12, I got my Wii repaired immediately, the GCN died of a weak laser and the Wii died 'cause of corrupt memory.

My original NES that I got in uh...'88, I think, and my original Gameboy - You know, the cinder block with a screen! :D - are both still in working order. Twenty years and still going strong. My SNES still works, for that matter, and without going into too much detail, I'll just say it's seen some use and abuse. Can't say the same thing for my Playstation 1 or my Playstation 2 - Both made it the long trek until their replacement system was released, and since I can still play the games, it's alright. I believe my mom's Gameboy Color from when it was first released still works, although she probably doesn't even know where it is - Not that it matters, since she has a DS. :P

Granted, my Atari 2600 also still works, so I'm gonna go the old-man route and say "They just don't make 'em like they used to." My Sega Genesis/CD would probably still work had my little brother not spilled a Squeez-It all over it. I'll never get to play Dark Wizard again. ; ;

PS - Don't ask me how my brother managed to spill a Squeez-It to the point of ruining a game console. I didn't know then, and I certainly don't know now. I'd blame it on his mental disability, but the fact that he has presented me with a riddle wrapped within an enigma, which I haven't been able to solve in well over a decade, would beg the question of who truly is deficient? :\ I'll crack the case of the Spilled-Squeez-It one of these days...

My NES doesn't work too well. It has troubles reading games. But this is forgivable because it's almost 20 years old.

My old GameBoy doesn't wok either, but i think that might have something to do with the fact that some baterries leaked inside it. That was a sad day... Tetris will never be the same.

But, I've never had a problem with a nintendo product within 10 years of purchase. Actually, I've never had a real problem with any game system, including my PS2.

Have owned and currently own a NES that you have to blow on the cartridiges to make them work. I'm betting pretty much anyone with a NES has this faulty thing wrong with theres.

Own 1 DS with a cracked hinge.

Bought one DS with 3 dead pixels, immediatly traded it in.

Had a gamecube that would lock up occasionally.

Have a N64, but I never play it to know if anythings wrong with it.

And finally and most importantly have a SNES that is nothing less than perfect.

now that ive thought about it...i HAVE had faulty nintendo...ish products. i had an old (madcatz) nintendo64 controller that had acted like i was pushing up on the stick...so when i played super smash bros i was always jumping, i think it was mainly my fault for i remember leaving it face down on the stick so maybe someone stepped on it...idk. a while back i had tony hawks underground 2 for gba andit was real glitches towards the end of the game. and most recently...i think...somethings rong with my nunchuk stick cus i canpopit in and it pops in and pull up on it and it pops up. wen its popped up though moving it round feels weird so i pop it down...does anyone elses do this? wow i said pop 5 times.

I hate to say this but once. My GC stopped reading disc. That could have been the kid's fault though. could have touched the lens. other than that and the green pixel on my DS lite, I'm straight. I praise them. I've dropped my DSes and GBs all over the place and they still work. I washed and dried my Pokemon Sapphire and my gamefile didn't even get deleted or anything

Not really 'faulty' per se but my first DS had some dead pixels and my Gamecube sometimes gets disc read errors, but hasn't for awhile.

NES system - still working, but older bro sold it on ebay...biggest mistake ever.

old school Game Boy (brick) - still worked, but sold it back to gamestop for a penny (LOL)

Game Boy Color - still worked at the time i had it.

Game Boy Advanced (original) - still worked, but sold it....i held no more interest in it anymore at the time.

Game Boy Micro - i pretty much play with this everyday now, especially ever since i got Castlevania Double Pack.

Gamecube - nothing wrong with it. still using it as a matter of fact (haven't beaten Zelda TP yet LOL).

I have had more problems with Xbox and Playstation than nintendo. My Xbox 360 will freeze after about two hour, and my PS2 gets so hot I cant touch it. Yet, I have never had any problems with nintendo. My super Nintendo still works.

The touch screen of my DS lite often does stylus jumping, meaning when i push a part of the screen it often gets misdirected.

More clearer view:

for example is when i type something it is often inaccurate and triggers another letter/option/event that i did not press.

Calibrating the touch screen did not fix my problem and never will.

No more warranty and i do not even have access to Nintendo's help center
