faulty, no.Have i gotten new ones due to to my own negligence and for free due to employee "stupidity" at stores?
Yes.
Actually...I did own a Nintendo, POWER GLOVE at one time.
As for people compalining about Dead pixels...shut up, lol! That **** happens alot, not just with Nintendo. Not everything is perfect.
I bought a Gameboy Advance SP that had a dead pixel and my DSL case near the a button feels kinda loose. But other than that I havent had any system fail on me. -supercharged-
Yeah, it feels the same here, but I'm not worrying too much :).
Nintendo products with problems:
Power glove was designed by Nintendo using NASA tech. It was based on a ten thousand dollar waldo unit. The actually manufactoring of the units was by a third party.

What country do you live in? In the US and Japan Nintendo replaces DSs with just one dead pixel. Sony on the other hand had to have had tons of complaints filed against them before they changed the policy on how many dead pixels the psp had to have before it was replaced.
I clicked a few occasions, but I really meant to click "once." I have a dead pixel on my DS screen, which doesn't bug me once but I might replace it one of these days.thorboy03
You have only one year with the warranty to get it replaced for free. Should have done it from the start. One dead pixel gets you a replacement DS in the first year.
Yes. My N64's controllers socket just stop working, my Gamecube had audio problems from the day I bought it. It made crackling noises in the sound and it was real irritating, and as for my Wii...well, it froze once and it wouldn't shut off. I had to unplug it. I've never had trouble with any other consoles before. I'm finding it hard to believe Nintendo has "high quality" products. majadamus
Dude the game freezing happens on all consoles. It happens on pcs. Doesn't matter who makes it. It often occurs if you have a long play session or the game has bugs.
Why the flying **** didn't you call Nintendo and had the unit replaced if it had sound issues or the controller socket stopped working? Nintendo replaces the units for free in those cases. Sony and MSoft charge you through the roof for those issues.

Aye, I know that, but I seem to have lost my purchase receipt. So... I'm not really sure of how to proof when I bought it. =/
My original NES that I got in uh...'88, I think, and my original Gameboy - You know, the cinder block with a screen! :D - are both still in working order. Twenty years and still going strong. My SNES still works, for that matter, and without going into too much detail, I'll just say it's seen some use and abuse. Can't say the same thing for my Playstation 1 or my Playstation 2 - Both made it the long trek until their replacement system was released, and since I can still play the games, it's alright. I believe my mom's Gameboy Color from when it was first released still works, although she probably doesn't even know where it is - Not that it matters, since she has a DS. :P
Granted, my Atari 2600 also still works, so I'm gonna go the old-man route and say "They just don't make 'em like they used to." My Sega Genesis/CD would probably still work had my little brother not spilled a Squeez-It all over it. I'll never get to play Dark Wizard again. ; ;
PS - Don't ask me how my brother managed to spill a Squeez-It to the point of ruining a game console. I didn't know then, and I certainly don't know now. I'd blame it on his mental disability, but the fact that he has presented me with a riddle wrapped within an enigma, which I haven't been able to solve in well over a decade, would beg the question of who truly is deficient? :\ I'll crack the case of the Spilled-Squeez-It one of these days...
My NES doesn't work too well. It has troubles reading games. But this is forgivable because it's almost 20 years old.
My old GameBoy doesn't wok either, but i think that might have something to do with the fact that some baterries leaked inside it. That was a sad day... Tetris will never be the same.
But, I've never had a problem with a nintendo product within 10 years of purchase. Actually, I've never had a real problem with any game system, including my PS2.
Have owned and currently own a NES that you have to blow on the cartridiges to make them work. I'm betting pretty much anyone with a NES has this faulty thing wrong with theres.
Own 1 DS with a cracked hinge.
Bought one DS with 3 dead pixels, immediatly traded it in.
Had a gamecube that would lock up occasionally.
Have a N64, but I never play it to know if anythings wrong with it.
And finally and most importantly have a SNES that is nothing less than perfect.

NES system - still working, but older bro sold it on ebay...biggest mistake ever.
old school Game Boy (brick) - still worked, but sold it back to gamestop for a penny (LOL)
Game Boy Color - still worked at the time i had it.
Game Boy Advanced (original) - still worked, but sold it....i held no more interest in it anymore at the time.
Game Boy Micro - i pretty much play with this everyday now, especially ever since i got Castlevania Double Pack.
Gamecube - nothing wrong with it. still using it as a matter of fact (haven't beaten Zelda TP yet LOL).
the l button on my DS stoped working last weekend, then it started working again and now its not working. whats wrong with it?
this is the only problem ive ever had with a nitendo product
The touch screen of my DS lite often does stylus jumping, meaning when i push a part of the screen it often gets misdirected.
More clearer view:
for example is when i type something it is often inaccurate and triggers another letter/option/event that i did not press.
Calibrating the touch screen did not fix my problem and never will.
No more warranty and i do not even have access to Nintendo's help center
