I'm having a rather urgent problem. I recently bought a new wireless router so that I could use the internet on my Wii, and well, after choosing Wireless connection, my connection, and typing in my password, I managed to connect to the shop channel for a while, and purchase some games. I then tried using the internet and it gave me that 53015 error or whatnot, and I could no longer get a connection no matter how many times i tried to test connection.

So I restarted my Wii, redid all my internet settings, and once again I got a connection, browsed the internet, did a little more shopping, then tried playing Brawl online, before it started giving me the same No connection errors once more. Can someone PLEASE tell me what the hell could be causing this?!?!

Try changing the router channel to 1 or 11.

Heh, sorry, I found a match in Brawl while I was typing that, so I just quickly hit submit.

It should be somewhere in your router settings. Access it via a computer connected to it... it's different for every router, so look it up if you don't know how to access the settings.

the best way to acsses your setting is by a pc. go to your network connections in control panal and right click on the icon that says connected and and click on status look for default gateway it should be something like 192.168.1.448. write it down. now bring up internet explorer and put the number in the address bar after that just go through the setting and find what your looking for

Lol sorry, forgot to mention that I already fixed it. I finally found the area in my router settings where I could change the channel.
support.nintendo.com is VERY helpful by the way, if anybody else ever has similar problems.

Awesome. So did changing the channel completely solve the issue, or did you have to do something else as well?

Thanks. We see a lot of wireless connections issues around here, so I like to keep up with all the different problems and solutions. Changing the channel seems to be the most common problem/solution.

Oh, and if people ask how they get into their Router's settings, you just get your IP and type it into whatever internet browser you use.
