Hello Planet Puzzle League (goodbye social life).

Planet Puzzle League aka Tetris Attack aka Panel de Pon aka the most addictive game ever is now available on the DS. I've seen little discussion of it so far around these parts, so I suggest you read the IGN Review (9.0) to get an idea of how essential this game is.

By the way, does anybody remembers a yoshi game for the Super Nintendo with this same concept?

A fantastic game indeed. I already bought it, hopped online, and commenced the greatest beat down to my oppoenents ever. 8)

I actually was kicked out of the "Novice battle" on my first match. No kid. I don't know how it "ranks" you but I guess by points or something. I won a few matches, and now "Novice Mode" is unavailible. My only gripe is "Birthday Battle" seems to be the only ranked matches... :question:

If meteos had online, it would totally blow this away. I don't know why, but this game just "SEEMS" like it is a blatant rip off of Meteos even though Meteos did rip off other games.DarkRider23

Actually, if you knew your Gaming history you would realize Meteos is more of a "Blatant Rip off" of Tetris Attack, the game that started the Puzzle League Franchise back in 1996.  And No, Meteos (Despite being a good game) doesn't hold a candle to Panel de Pon when it comes to frenzied puzzle gameplay.  Tetris Attack, Panel De Pon or Puzzle League (Whichever name you choose to call it) is Miles ahead of Meteos.  In fact, if Tetris Attack was never invented, there would be no such thing as Meteos.
