i hadn't played it for a few days, been busy...but i go to turn it on and i don't see now yellow or red light on the wii....looks just like it's unplugged

i unplugged everything and replugged it in and still no lights or anything

i think it's dead

any chance it could be the power brick? cause i had a power outage the other day, but i saw the red light come back on...now today though it's just dead

Yeah i had a similar issue one time. The other day I had my PC, my 360, Wii, Reciever, TV, and light on all at the same time, and the power blew (most were all in the same electrical outlet. All my stuff was connected to a power surge protector (with multiple outlets) which automatically switches off (even the non protected ones switch off when these things happen). Anyway I went and fixed the fuse, and returned, but nothing was still working. Eventually after 2 hours I was looking at the surge protecter and realized ti was off. So maybe urs is off to (if u have one) or your electrical outlet needs to be jump started by pressing that red button that some have.

yea i reset my surge protector and everything is it still won't work...everything else plugged into it works fine, 360, tv, PS3...but the wii just still won't turn on sadly

hopefully my friend comes over today with his power brick and see if that's it or not

Dude i really think its the brick. Did you also try plugging it into a different outlet? also make sure the wires in the back of the wii are plugged in tight.

Yes, a few years ago my wife painted over a electrical socket and tripped a breaker. When I reset the breaker my Wii was dead. I got a replacement AC adapter off the internet for $20 and works fine now. Back then they didn't have the AC adapters in stores but they might now. Check Bestbuy and if they don't have it just google it and buy one online.
