When i try to get on wifi it shows a strong signal but then it says it cant find my ip adress and i get disconnect?

some connections are like that(even tho they show full signal, you cant use them). try another one. i found one at my work place and it works great!

Like Ignite2k3 said, some adresses are inacessable because the owner locked them. Just try others.

It might depend what type of internet u have I have Verizon Fios and every time I connect the signal strength gets strong then it cuts off and after that I can't connect to the access point.

ok i only got the fire wall on but it works before but it doesnt work now cause the internet light ins't blinking anymore so i guess something must of happen in the internet settings but i don't know what though.
