Help my Wii has smoke coming out of it!

Its this blackish smoke coming out of the fan!! smells bad too but the games still working properly.. wtf has happened? making alot of noise too but the game is working fine.. should I be concerned about this?

Smoke coming out of a console is never a good thing. I wouldn't use the Wii and I'd call Nintendo asap. Explain to them what happened/what is happining, they should be able to tell you why it's happining and what you need to do to fix it.Knight-Owl

while the console might run, using it will endure further damage even fire hazard. don't use it

turn off the console immediately and bring it to a service if you say it's still running games there is a high chance it can be fixed , but with further burning inside you reduce the fix chance

No kidding. I've gone on message boards to ask questions about less serious things like noise or occasional freezing just to see if it's something wrong with my system that I can fix or if it's something more widespread, but I think I could determine on my own that something is wrong if my Wii was releasing black smoke and funny smells.

Nothing in your house should have smoke coming out of it, except for a candle or incense, of course it's a problem!

Must be the new Wii HD. Its an HD Wii and it comes bundled with Punch Out George Foreman Grill Edition.

In addition to all the humorous things you should do:

Hang some fish fillets over top the thing
Get your Wii an ashtray, and,
When's the last time you put oil in it?
